dc's Super Skunk and HashBerry round #2, going for 1GPW!

Those buds are lookin' quite delicious sir, where did you happen upon these strains sir? scribed as well, wanna see hoe your yield turns out!

Thanks, luckily I know some true stoners so I've been blessed with some genetics along the way. Actually, my boy said he just got Ice from his friend and I'm supposed to be getting it. Can't wait for that one, it's supposed to be killer.

Trying to catch the light at the right time to take some more pics. Maybe tomorrow morning...

Well it's the 31st day of flowering this clone crop now, and I continue to be amazed at how well they're doing this time around and how frosty they are already. Not much more to say really. b a n a n a s bongsmilie

These are the last pics of the plants before being staked up and tied down. I wish I could have left em that way, they looked so beautiful and happy. I mean, I REALLY wish I could have left them that way! I hate the big chore things like this one where you have to pull all of the plants out and mess with em. But alas I have to work my mad science as usual. hehehe It'll all pay off in the end. Just equals a sore back and blown-out knees for a day or two. Thank god I have plenty of medicine!

Haha, well it's nice to remember the days when I had an army of them guarding my grass. They don't like my closet so much any more with the mylar coating. =/

Looking forward to your harvest, subscribed ;)

OK so here's the word. This crop is the best looking that I've ever grown, in every way EXCEPT density and yield. Really kinda disappointed with the yield so far. Not sure why they haven't blown up like they usually do yet, but I'm just praying that they will during the last two weeks here. I mean I know they'll swell some, but I want em to swell a LOT!

Here's what went wrong along the way that I feel heavily affected yield:

1) I over-limed the soil a bit because I was blazed and got the ratio a bit high. I also didn't get to let the lime 'cook' in the soil for a bit first, but rather just mixed the powder into the soil and ran with it instantly. This stunted them for a week or two, and they came back with a vengeance, but I lost that veg time.

2) I usually veg my plants longer, but this time decided to go with less veg time and a greater quantity of plants. Next time I'm not going to flip em quite as early.

3) I trimmed the hell out of these things, which never really affects larger plants I've found, but I think the intense pruning on these little gals might have been a lot for them. Next time I'm going to trim a bit less on the areas I'm trying to push growth to.

So what do you guys think? I don't think I'm going to hit 1GPW this time, but I will definitely have a good bit of primo herb. Just wish I had those chunky colas like last time!
