If you're trying to claim that all laws inhibit freedom you're just wrong. Some laws make us more free. Did the series of civil rights laws passed during LBJ's administration make us less free? No, they didn't. Not every law is the patriot act.
It is a good deal if you know how to use it to your advantage. If you just sit around and don't do anything, yeah, it'll suck and everything you say about it will be true. The law will be what we make of it.
If everyone goes out and gains community support, talks to their city counsels/county board of supervisors, then files their permits, you can potentially end prohibition in your city/county. How is that a bad thing? You do have access to your local government. They almost all have office hours that anyone from the community can come in and get face time with them. The only problem is few from the cannabis community are willing to go talk to them.
But yeah, if you just want to sit their and complain about corporations or the government instead of doing something, then you're right. Big corporations will surely come in and take over and everything will suck.
