this time i think i am going to see if any friends i have that have nice slr's can come and take some good pics. i am going to start growing in soil this weekend, going to pick up clones, and a new cooler. gotta get things going at a faster pace here.

ok, i must note that i am chopping the lower canopy, which puts me @65-66 days, 61 when the tops were chopped down... i noticed that the more mature buds i left on are all sorts of purple now, and previously the buds only had a nice lavender/purple hue @61 days. the only issue is when i went to 67 days on the first harvest, this shit was putting me to sleep. harvest is looking on par, though i had a lot of self doubt when i first looked at things, but once i chopped all the nugs and threw em in a bucket, it looks like i did ok on this one. as for the pics, i plan on getting em uploaded as soon as everything settles down, though i am really disappointed in the macros i take sometimes, because i dont have the right setup to take some real nice pics... the light will typically be off, no tripod, no nice slr camera, poor flash/secondary lighting... i am a lucky photographer, in the sense that i take some really nice pics sometimes, but it would pay for me to invest in a nice slr and some photography classes. almost done with this semester in school, in a couple weeks i will have a lot more time to dick around and take pics and upload em...

also, about to grab some upgrades, its looking like it is going to be one cooler under each light, and im going to throw a 3x3 table into the veg tent, and get a hempy veg setup going, so that way i can get these plants vegging faster, im starting to fall behind with veg'd plants... today im going to the club to get some clones as they have some nice genetics floating around from cali up there...

also, this harvest was probably twice as frosty as the previous one, and i am wondering if my supplementing cal-mag did it. i am pretty sure that could be it, so it is something that i am going to keep around and try to fine tune it, as before my ppms started to run a little high, and i like my res to be steady...

kk, yesterday i went shopping and bought a bunch of stuff... got a 3x3 that im going to use to veg my plants in hydroton hempy setups... managed to find these little bullshit pales that i can put a netpot in so that way when it comes to transplanting i can just pull the netpot out... also, the hempy system will be auto-irrigated, which will be nice. picked up 2x600w eye hortilux super hps's, bunchs of air/water pumps, 5gal smart pots (soil grows are on their way), another cooler, etc... i am going to run 3 res's in my tent, 1 under each light, and i am going to put a 1x12 across the front of them to fill the space in front with my soil plants... heres some pics, didnt really have time to take a bunch of pics of the bud, or sort through these, as this week i have finals and research papers to do...

just put together my hempy bucket system... i used 1.5qt pails from home depot, put about an inch of hydroton on the bottom, then put in the netpot, and filled around the sides with hydroton. i need to go pick up more hydroton =/

so far everything is going good, cept for lack of sleep and too much homework to do. bout to smoke a spliff and lay my ass out on the couch... it looks like a grow store blew up in my apartment, there is shit everywhere and the place was immaculate yesterday. looks like im going to be getting some new genetics floating through here, and from what i understand, despite how hard it is to clone, the white rhino is real good. im not using my bubble cloner anymore, just root plugs...

What's with the foil tape around the bottom of the buckets??? Atleast it looks like tape.

lol... yea about that tape. the pails i have arent exactly lightproof, and i wasnt really sure if it mattered with hempy and didnt have time to research it... so basically i just tossed a strip around each bucket where the water would be pooled just to be on the safe side... it was something i delegated to my girlfriend to do, so i wasnt bothered. she needed some busy work, because she wanted to help out, so i gave her some lol.

so my birthday is 4-20, so i turn 30 tomorrow... i just got my present a little early, my girl is pretty bad ass... global gf/gfs series knives... scary fuckin sharp, they were already sent off to a professional sharpener to put a proper edge on them.

haha, i do believe we are going out for japanese tonight. thanks for the birthday wishes, and as for food, i shall take some pics next time i do something very nice, it is a rarity these days that i have the time to cook good stuff. cant wait for this semester of school to be over because im taking two semesters off, so i will have time to cook.

for some reason i never take pics of anything plated =/

here is a some little pork tenderloins for you to look at. i love dry roasting pork tenderloins because it takes literally like 5 mins of prep, and a short time in the oven @450f. not to mention for as little time is invested they always please everyone. except probably vegetarians, muslims, and jewish people.

yes, those are pools of juices, and also pay no mind that i used a cleaver to cut that. it is razor sharp and my slicer was in the dishwasher lol.

kk, went clone shopping today picked up 2xchem#4, 2x violator kush, 2x purple kush (1' tall), and 2x casey jones... my res has finally arrived at the grow store 6 days late, safe to say i will never step foot through there again... pics coming up on monday of the whole shebang as it is now...

quick pic update... finals are killin me right now... also, totally forgot to take a pic of the prime rib after it was done as i was all stoned and commenced to having dinner, needless to say it was amazing, and slicing it was a breeze =-P

OMG that Prime Rib must have been good.
