It's okay, we know that life is busy..Sometimes I'm not on for days at a time haha..Glad you like the bud..It's sticky and sour smelling..I just clipped a piece off so Ruiner and I could smoke it and the smell has gotten stronger and its only been in there for a few hours..and from the looks and feel of it, it seems really airy but we shall see

I want to grow a sour diesel so badly..The sour diesel and the grand daddy purple are my 2 favoritesGood stuff, I actually just cut my first sour smelling strain earlier today! honestly, idk..im still learning..ruiner said its more like high stress training..just tying the stem down along the side of the 5 gallon container

holy shit..I opened the closet where she is hanging this morning so that I could take a small bud off of her and omg does she stink..definitely smells sour..she hasnt even been drying for 24 hours yet..i love it

Alright I think I am up to date with giving everyone rep..if I had missed you, let me know..Here's a quick update..I took her out of the closet last night and she is now chopped up and in a jar..Ruiner had to chop up the top cola because it was way to big for the jar haha..now its time to cure, wooooooohoooooooooo

chopped down the giant ccob the other night...wasnt quite ready..but i was.wanted to spend my time and resources on the next grow.but for now got a smoke report on the haze and the new stuff.....
the haze...kept the fruity smell all through cure....taste was very very haze like...ultra smooth to hit....now that i think of it..i have not had any of our harvest that have made me cough..all the herb i get here makes me cough...regs,mids,highs.but none of ours has made me cough yet....guess im doing something right as it comes to that
the monster ccob...(unknown strain)...now this thing has me puzzled....it was a good 2-3 weeks from being fully ripe...at chop it had little to no smell at all.after 2 days of cure i opened it to what i and everyone agrees smells like pineapple juice...very strong pineapple juice.but the taste is totally different...best way to explain it is it leaves a thick sugary taste in your mouth...almost like molasses if molasses tasted good.the high is very indica like...makes me sleepy even in the middle of the day.never had that with any weed...least i hope its the weed and not just me getting old.
now something ive been keeping track of is drying/cure times...with each harvest the days from dry to cure is getting smaller and smaller.if anyone remembers my diesel ryder...i waited till after 8 days of drying to start the cure.the next plant i waited after 6 days of drying to cure.next harvest i waited 4 days...and so on..now these last 2 plants we only dried for 2 days,then jared.most people say wait till the outside of the buds feel "crispy". when doing that they seem to lose a lot of its aroma before being jarred.when i jarred them after only 2 days of drying they kept the preharvest smell and started smelling really good after 1-2 days of cure wile with the plants that hung to dry longer took much more time to get that good smell from curing.might just be me..but it seems the wetter the bud is going into cure the better and faster it cures.and have not had any signs of mold on any of it....i pull the jars out about 2-3 times day..check all the buds..stir them up..and leave the jar open for 35-45 minutes then seal it up.each day the taste gets better and dryer making it easier to smoke.after 4-5 days it burns great and tastes amazing.will be trying a few new methods of cure on the next few grows......which is going to happen after the new grow tent/closet is constructed...for those following my other thread...my plans have changed...same closet..same area...but instead of building a new wall..going to build a tent.details on that later when i figure it all out.but for now..im stoned..pizza is here...fucking munchies time

two to three days is exactly how much time i give mines to dry,,,,,,, and the smell is always incredible......... i used to dry for a week to two weeks..... but now i just simply make sure i manicure her very very good and dry it for 2-3 days and cure as much as possible..... every time i open up my container or i take some bud to work it literally stinks up my whole apartment or my whole office @ work....... and the taste is soooo good and smooth at the same time that i dont even feel it going down my throat at all,,,,, and just to make sure i ALWAYS give alot away (to beginner smoker to straight up potheads) to make sure i get more smoke reports from different individuals and all say the same thing "damn this shit smells strongs but tastes so sweet when smoked"
so from that i decided to dry for a few days and to cure as much as possible..............
nice job lovebirds i like the harvest.... now its time for a smoke report from yall two............... ill plus rep when im able to do so.............. once again nice job lovebirds.... lookinf forward to the next "project"
