This is done to me, trichs are irrelevant and hard to read unless your a pro
FWIW, I find this to be very good advice. For example, when I was just starting out, I didn't have enough light, I was just using some CFLs, and not enough. Now looking back in hindsight, I know that no matter what those trichs looked like, they were never going to finish properly because the flowers were just simply not mature and developed like they should be. I mean, yeah they would eventually turn amber, but only the ones that weren't already milky, which was a much smaller number than if it had had more light.
Now, for the most part, I know when my strains are going to fatten up, how and when the pistils recede, when the calyxes are going to fatten up, and then I start looking at trichs to see how long I want to let them sit there and ripen...
Also, I feel like you've still got at least a week, maybe more left... Still quite a bit of clear... How fat are the calyxes?
