The timing the breeders give with the description, depends on a lot of things, mostly having a dialed in grow rooms with CO2 , with out problems during the grow, with mature veg plants being flipped , and then there is all the pheno types you will encounter when running seeds.
They should only be used as a ruff guide.

Your pics are good, just wait till most of the heads are milky n not clear, don’t worry about a little amber on the leafs as they will turn b4 the flowers .

Thanks. I'm learning a lot from you guys. I'll keep updating the Trichome pics, and wait to harvest anything till you guys give the thumbs up. Thank you Growking too, but I have to follow the majority's advice, no hard feelings. Thanks again everybody.

Trichs are the best known thing to look at on the whole plant witch a 2 year old child could see with a 60x magnifier for when it's ready. So are completely relevant. Why take them at the wrong time and lose thc weight and size. Everyone to there own. But your advice is bull shit my friend.
I disagree with this. Triches are a poor indicator of ripeness.

Those are no where near done and from all the research, a lot, I've done trichs are the only way to know. Pistils on the other hand are not a good indicator of a plants maturity.

It all matters what kind of emphasis you want out of your high. If you want a more heady high wait till they're half cloudy. If you want a more couchlock high wait till there are a bit of ambers on there as well. The heads of your trichs are barely even falling over yet which is another indicator.

If you doubt any of this I can supply data to back it up.

Wow, great looking harvest you got coming there... Nice job! With that much bud, if I were you, I'd go ahead and take a lot of it, and then leave the rest of it for another week or more to experiment and see which kind you like better, and how it changes the effects on the same strain to wait longer... Then you have a lot more diverse bud to choose from too... Also leave one big cola on each plant and then that way you'll know going forward how this strain changes over time..

Well a tad rude Keeprollinup, sorry to say Kingrow1 is right about the over all look of the plant not the trichs when it's done. Where as I'm sure YOU know not all trichs of strains turn amber. Landrace and dominate Sativa's are good example of most trichs never really turning amber at all. The More You Know the better you grow!

You have your proof if you know what theses trich pics are saying?

:-)
Yes but I need to look it up again. I wasn't attempting to be an ass either. You just here lots of stuff on here without any real evidence. Each time someone on here states x,y,z I immediatly search the web for data to either prove or disprove it.

I think your nicely into that harvest window. There are some clear still, and some amber, but plenty of cloudy trichs. The bud pictures the other day showed some nice swelling happening. If you pull now I don't think you'd be disappointed. I'm also sure a few more days wouldn't hurt anything at all.

none of it looks ready to me....all the ambers i saw were on sugar leaves, which are not a valid indicator.
looks like a shitload of clear trichs, a few cloudy, and practically no amber......at least another week, probably more like two

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to harvest the Green Crack tomorrow, and give the others a little longer. So far I'm thinking the Pura Vida will be the next one.
