Yes it slows stretch a lot. your plants will still stretch a bit, but not nearly as much as without it. Flowers will start almost a week faster.

o shit thats what i like to hear thanks! if you were gonna go by percentages what % of the stretch is cut do you think? i got plants that stretch from like a foot to 4 feet the height is crazy, im tryin to cut that downYes it slows stretch a lot. your plants will still stretch a bit, but not nearly as much as without it. your the man sidd thanks! just curious what other AN products do you love or use? you sound like you know what your doin. any thoughts on bud factor x?Cuts stretch in about half.
Full strength first week, half strength week 2. Just to try and save money.
Other stretch stopping nutrients have Paclobutrazol in them. Paclo is banned for human consumption. If a chemical manufacture tells you it is banned you know you really dont want it in you. Bud Ignitor uses Ethephon i think, which is ok for fruit production.

hmmm thats weird ive never scene that before. nice talkin to you sidd thanks for the infoHow? I have no idea. But I have seen it happen to a few strains. They were pure sativa strains that were already silly stretchy. 2 days after using it the buds stretched out. It is not the plant stretching just the buds.

I do the same ratio but I go by mixing 16 ml per gallon of base and 8 ml per gallon of additives. I usually mix 5 gallons at a time.very nice el throttle. your using the exact same things that im using except i also add barricade. im curious what ratio of additives to nutes do you use? as an example i add 100m of a, 100 of b, and 50 ml of all additives so thats a 50% ratio of additives to nutes. do you do it similar to this or are you measuring by the gal?
good to know. i like knowing if other people are doing the same as me and you look like you know what your doing nice picsI do the same ratio but I go by mixing 16 ml per gallon of base and 8 ml per gallon of additives. I usually mix 5 gallons at a time.
Nice conversation here, folks. I don't think I've used Bud Ignitor that much (feeling the years of stoned-ness today), so it's good to hear from folks that know their stuff.good to know. i like knowing if other people are doing the same as me and you look like you know what your doing nice pics
thats way too big of a hastle to do when you have alot of lights though. i was just doing some research on the sensi ph perfect and it says when using it plants are more compact and short. im hoping using the ph perfect and bug ignitor combined will cut down a good amount of stretch. worst case scenario im gonna try out the hortilux super blue hps bulb. i wish i could get more info on this damn bulb it seems like no ones using itA little trick I do that helps tremendously with stretch is leave it nice and close under a M.H light until you see flower sites then move it to a hps. Hps is knows to for more lanky growth w/ less leafiness but larger fruiting. Really mh are closer to the sun spectrum thats why plants respond to them better but they dont have quite enough red spectrum for the full fruiting potential. Its usually a week or two for me under m.h once the switch is made. And I run a 400 mh in the flower room constantly to help w/ the spectrum. youngies go under there then I rotate them to the 600 hps's i got going.
No but a cool ,ventillated grow room does.ive been trying to get answers on this question but havent got any responses. im trying to cut down the stretch on this clone i got
im definitely gonna keep that open as an option in the future thanks. to be honest im probably blowing this whole thing outta proportion cause with the pvc trellis i built i shouldnt have a problem anyway with no veg time. its good to be prepared thoughThats why I have a section in the flower room just for that..and i run perpetual so theres always a noob under the mh. But I do understand the simplicity a smoker enjoys. But imo I feel if you tried it and saw how big of a difference it made you wouldnt complain about the hassle of changing a few light bulbs out.. I have also seen m/h & hps bulb in one. They only sell them in a 1000 watt and 400 is mh and 600 is hps. These lights do tend to give less lumens but they mimic the suns spectrum better. Those blue spectrum bulbs are good for flowering but honestly you cant really even see the difference w/ the naked eye only your plants will. I would be surprised if it had enough spectrum change to cut down on stretch. Why chemically shorten the stretch when you can do it naturally and basically for free? but to each his own. Have you seen those lights on a fan where its like 3 hps and 2 mh and they spin to cool and to mix up the spectrum? I have heard good things about those saw some in action at a colorado medical grow and they looked to be effective. but they must cost a arm and a leg and then you got a spinning light hazard in your room...heads up lol
I have used it for years, it is bloody awesome. It really make the plant pack on the nodes and tightens them as well. I feed ignitor a week before I flip to flower. I use this and keep my night time and daytime temps even, then I have very good control of my stretch. By the end of week three the first 8 inches of my colas are joined up. And my cycle is usually shortened by a week and my buds are massive!!!!! Ignitor has a PGR in it which is completely natural and safe. Its worth the insane price.it sounds like you havent used it before. thanks for your imput but id like to hear from someone who's used it. its supposed to shorten the flower cycle plus AN customer service says theres something in it that lowers the stretch. its understandable though that if it shortens flowering it could cut down the stretch
