ps how does one make money on people who have no money?
by paying someone $0.70 to make a shirt, and selling it for $29.99.

It's better than your solution Bucky whereby you tax the rest of the people harder and the person who once got 70c a shirt now doesn't have to work at all.

that's not my solution at all. It's better than your solution Bucky whereby you tax the rest of the people harder and the person who once got 70c a shirt now doesn't have to work at all.
Hell yeah lets start by shutting down all the library's ..hell school buses are socialist too..I pay for them buses and can't even ride one. Get rid of them as well and make all the children just walk. They used to have a song called "fuck the police"...Might as well get rid of them too, as well as the fire dept, and city garbage collection..fuck it lets start making a list
VA Hospital
Post Office
Jails
Medicare
SSI
unemployment
Parks (national and city)
Beaches (national and city)
Libraries
Road, Streets, Highways, byways, Freeways
Schools
Street lamps (city included)
You would be for higher unemploymentthat's not my solution at all.
my solution would be something like a wage floor. perhaps we can call it a "minimum wage". along with regulations that keep corporations from readily exploiting workers.
i'm sure someone will be along to tell me why this could not work, despite all the empirical evidence to the contrary.
if you can't pay a worker a livable wage, don't hire them. You would be for higher unemployment
cool so they will make nothing instead of something, sounds great.if you can't pay a worker a livable wage, don't hire them.
i know you're in love with the rawn pawl world of nike sweatshops but most of us are not.cool so they will make nothing instead of something, sounds great.
where we are? ya mean, sans sweatshops? Why should I pay anyone more than they are worth to me? If the amount I pay isn't enough, don't interview.
The idea that the government should be involved in this is what got us where we are.
they existed here until government intervened.Right. The government is the only thing standing between us and sweatshops.
Now it's the fault of the employer that someone is willing to work for less?if you can't pay a worker a livable wage, don't hire them.
Maybe OBAMA should inject our economy with another stimuless or two. LOL!oh cmon man...this really is not even debate worthy...no jobs here..they are over seas...rich fucks abusing the tax code and paying dirty politicians to keep things this way.... not take the job? many don't ..but the next sucker will out of desperation. cheap wages and no healthcare ..we are the last industrialized nation not to have universal coverage..retarded! and corrupt!
so i assume you took your tax breaks and fed them to pigeons at the park or something?Maybe OBAMA should inject our economy with another stimuless or two. LOL!
UB harps on how well it worked, we could easily just do a few more...LOLOL!
that's it, when you can't dispute historical fact, make up strawmen! Now it's the fault of the employer that someone is willing to work for less?
If the potential employee doesn't like the pay being offered, they can simply not take the job. If the employee is needed enough, the wage will go up.
Maybe OBAMA can mandate a country wide workers union. We can all make a mandated amount, maybe $100 an hour? Plus mandated Obenefits, of course.
If it worked so well, why not do another stimuless?so i assume you took your tax breaks and fed them to pigeons at the park or something?
LOL!
I bet you're SO anti sweatshop that only HALF your clothes are made in one.that's it, when you can't dispute historical fact, make up strawmen!
sweatshops were the good ol' days of america, let's make a return to them. because sweatshops are what make america great and prosperous.
we should, and the first one should have been bigger. If it worked so well, why not do another stimuless?
Wait.........I've asked you this before, a few times. LOL!
