He proves that he's not ripping people off by selling bunk seeds that are being misrepresented as S1's of clone-only strains.

I'm just saying he is not a fly by night seed shop or a seed bank that sells other breeders seeds, he breeds his own stuff. I always wanted to try his gear and from the feedback I've got about his seeds they are about as good as you can get. I have heard a lot about greenhouse seeds and I can't say without trying them, that's how I am. I think that a lot of unsatisfied growers end up with bad stuff from user error, and if your unhappy with greenhouse the only way to go is Mr. Nice if you don't like that either than it might just be the strain for you. From what I have heard White widow is nothing special just lot's of trichs.

I am sure it is pretty easy to produce seeds from clones but like you said the skill comes from being able to provide a consistent quality. I'm sure their will be no hermis, I have never growsn any female seeds before becaused of this and the lack of potency(from what I have heard) and I have no problem putting these in my garden. I had preflowers coming out all over one of my dopes in veg too so that was cool. There are people out there who do s1s the doc isnt the only one but do you trust them? I really don't see any reason for the doc to sell seeds from these clones unless they were the real deal.

well thanks for the kind words. I just have always felt that repeat business is much more important than making a quick buck and if DrGT was out there selling phony beans he wouldn't be where he is today. If you think about it, he's been in the biz longer than most every other breeder and seed co. I'm sure you'll be satisfied-just cause one guy says he wasn't impressed with the beans doesn't really mean anything when you look at the bigger picture. To tell you the truth I would be more comfortable buying elite cut seeds from the doc than purchasing the clones from some anonymous person that may or may not have any idea what he's talking about. At the very least your not going to get some disease, infection or pest that you might get from cuttings.

I hope your grow is everything you hope it will be too. And if it is I'm sure you'll be back, right?

Thanks for the links, but all I saw was 4 pics of some OG in process (nice looking BTW)... no journals on any of the elites. Also saw one comment from one customer that his OG beans arrived and looked premature.

well i guess don't use greenthumb seeds as it seems like your looking for a reason to not like them.

hey hydro, check out my grow of the drs " bunk" elite beans.. i am in the process of growing out the og along with the free dope beans that he sent pipe and i along with some others.. i have to say that the og is looking damn nice thus far, as is the dope.. i am gonna flip them to 12/12 this week, so it won't be long till we get to see how they come out..
i just don't get all these haters on the dr.. there are plenty of companies out there that take elite cuttings and make beans out of them.. ever hear of a lil company called cali connection? didn't think so.. all they do is take clone onlys and make beans out of them and sell them for the lowly price of two hundred bucks for ten beans.. and most banks can't keep them in stock..

Not too much too add got a HPS to go with the MH.

I know I keep saying this but these plants are awesome. They are just lovely to look at w/ their leaves and they grow fast. They are super easy to clone and I already have clones of clones and some nice clones that are ready to be cloned. A few days ago, one of the plants I had vegging wilted on me. I went ahead and planted her into the flowering room even though she was so small because I want to see if there is a lot of variation from seed to seed. So far theres #1 which was the biggest and oldest of them forming nice looking buds but what I like most about it, is the small well defined leavesand the way it branches at the nodse not just forming buds along the stem. Dope #2 which is a little different looking but also nice and the dope #3 which is small and not even preflowering yet. I have a momma of D#1 and D#2 but I had to get rid of the D#3 and D#4 clones because they were taking up too much room. I took cuts of all of them though, it may seem like a waste of time but since my veg area is so small, it's a lot easier dealing with small clones of clones than keeping the mothers alive the whole time, especially with the pot size limitation.

My gear from doc is top notch,Im testing his iranains but his ghost cut is next on my list.Its right up there with swerves gear,Im growing cali connections raskal OG,tahoe OG and lemmon larry and would order docs ghost cut tommorrow if I had room.......peace...

hey mr therapy man, you have a link to your iranian journal? i am super interested in that strain as well.. i have to say that i pretty much love the drs strains.. his og kush is turning into a monster of a bush.. just went out and got a new digi camera tonite so that i can get some better pix aside from the crappy ones that i was taking on my phone, which did absolutely no justice to them at all..
and i have to agree with pipe about the leaf structure on the dopes.. i have never seen anything like them in my life.. i have two of the dopes going at the moment, and although they are very similiar, one has slightly smaller leaves on it compared to the other one.. nothing major, just slightly smaller.. i fimmed one of them, and topped the other for four main colas..
i also just got a daisy cloner 8 site jobber, and took 5 clones of the og and all of them are showing signs of roots in under a week, and i just took 3 clones off of the dope on like saturday or sunday, and i will check for roots on them when i get up there in a few..
hey pipe, what watt lamp did you get to go with your other one? if memory serves me right, you were runnin a 400 watt hps right? i wish i had a lil more room to step up to a four hundred watter instead of my lil candle of a 250, but my boy mindmelted got over 19 ounces off of one apple jack under a 250, so it gives me hope, lol... just need to learn a lil more and make a few more tweeks here and there im sure..

Damn 19 oz? that's crazy talk, damn. I was running a 400 MH and 250 MH but I swapped the 250 for a 250 HPS. I also bought a new bulb for the 400 MH-an agrosun gold off amazon for only 40$ and I have been wanting to try them for a while. They have an increased red spectrum but still lots of blue light. Since I couldn't get the 600 HPS at this time, this was a cheaper option to suit me for the time being. I think the results will be much better.

I've seen you around a few other sites therapy man and your autos are cool. I was probably never interested in autos until I read about the Doc's and I wouldn't mind trying them sometime especially outdoors if I ever get a chance. I think with some of the other strains in here I will really get a chance to compare the Doc's gear to what else is out there. So far they are great, they have been through hell and still chuggin right along.

Guys these autos are to fill in while my hazes and kush finish,I thought these might fill the viod.Im not real interested in autos.I was also gifted a pack of NYCD autos and Im basicaly just breedig these for seeds later on.I like those cali connection kushes and shantis haze..peace

yah, i have some of the cali gear myself, i got the sour og and the larry as well.. haven't gotten a chance to crack any of them as of yet, but as soon as i get done this grow maybe i will crack a few of the larrys as that is what really caught my eye.. oh snap, i also forgot that i have some of their silver chem i think it is that i got from sow amazing seeds before they got robbed..

Ive had larry in clone off my buddy who shops at the farm but now Ive got seeds from suite 215 of Larry,tahoe and raskal so Ive got the kushes covered.Ive allready cloned raskal and my larrys not far behind.THC farmer stole my cash on some ogr gear so Im banned from there,,,,,.peace

not good to hear about the farm.. it kills me when people like that piss all over the community the way that they do.. it really does make me sick.. like its not shady enough dealing with legit companies in this feild, than you have to deal with what pretty much sounds like a thief from all that i've read and heard..
i really wish i had gone with the raskals instead of the larry, but i'm sure i will be happy with larry too..

I think Speedy is going to start stockin Cali Connect gear just so you know. I have heard some shady stuff about the farm so I personally wouldn't order from them. CC stock seems really hyped to me and as racer pointed out earlier in this thread, I have seen their gear SELLING for 500$ a pack, that's a little outrageous IMO.

yah, five hundred is crazy talk for beans.. i think that you hit it on the head pipe.. idk why sometimes one company or another will get a lot of hype behind them for one reason or another and just really outsell the competition .. thats the one thing that i really like about the dr, he's kinda laid back and not overly hyped, but he still manaages to come through with the killer strains year after year..
yah, my buddy mindmelted stops by my journal now and again and i think he has the link in his sig to his and my other buddy doobieous' journal called something like doobs and minds growpalozza.. you can skip through most of the grow if you just want to check out his finished harvest pix, i think that they start somewhere around like page 40 or so of the journal... he really does give me something to strive for, although he grows dwc and i'm a dirtbag, l ol.. still, 19 o's from one apple jack plant, that sh$t is just crazy as hell..

I can't wait to see how this turns out. I almost bought The Dope, but went with his Chemdawg#4 this time around.
Was the estimated flower time short, like Endless Sky tends to be?
