Okay cool.. thanks.. but everybody uses a Dome.. it’s to keep the humidity up above 70%.. I mean I’ll try with out but that’s kind of a norm for the world I’ve seen.. I’ll def try some clear res or chlorine.. thanks
Everybody? I've been using aero-cloners for decades and talked to dozens of people who use them and none of them use domes. In the last few years I've seen the dome thing. Commercial ones are not even sold with domes so I don't know where it came from. No rooting hormones either. Why dip them in something that is going to wash off? The most common "debates" I've seen over the years are timing (pumps on 24/7, 15min/15min or 1/4 etc) straight water or pH and water temp, weak nutrients or none, but to be honest they all work. There used to be a guy on overgrow, who really introduced everybody to the first DIY cloners; DCyans I believe was his name. Anyway, he did a ton of runs because he also sold his DIY ones. If I remember right, low end pH with slightly warm temps rooted the fasted, but the trade off was the risk if you weren't sterile in your methods. Like people have mentioned, you can treat for that too. Lower temps take longer but is safer. 4 days one way or the other really.
