Lol. That reminds me of an episode, back in the day, of Adam-12; where some dude got busted for drying his stuff at the laudromat. Something makes me think that none of us would do that anymore.....

I remember that show. The state of the art of special effects was to remove windshield and mount a camera on the hood...that's all I remember.

PS I dry the pots well so roots will dry and shake out. Used to reuse as is, but after I rinsed one in a bucket and saw how much crap was in it...now I wash them.
 
They're so cheap when you buy them on Amazon that I use them a few times and then they go outside to be used for flowers or giving away plants to friends. I never wash them. I just give them a good beating and refill with coco.

I'll have to check that out. The only series I've watched on Netflix has been the Umbrella Academy, and that's been really good.

Sorry about the derail, OP. For what it's worth, this is my first time using a fabric pot; so I can't answer your question yet.... Lol
 
When I use fabric pots for my mothers and they need to be culled or replanted, I just take the empty bag outside and use the garden hose and sprayer to remove as much funk and salts from the bag and then air dry. Unless I have evidence of some nasties that have taken up home in the old soil I figure it's already alive microbially so sterile techniques are pointless.
 
Fabric bags grow amazing plants and root balls, but they are a pain the rear to transplant FROM, plants are hard to remove from fabric pots because the roots grab / grow into the pot itself. So I personally start in solo cup / plastic and I up-pot to my final pot which is always fabric.

They are re-usable without cleaning if you have them slightly elevated off the ground to let run off water run away, if the bottom of the pot is left to soak in a wet saucer they will turn green from algae pretty quick, I elevate mine with a hockey puck under my 2 gallon bags
