Nope, not law - was taught by Massad though, and that's the hard/fast "mostly safe" distance for justification and ability to identify a weapon given a wide range of weather and light conditions.. and is the one I stick by, or did. Will talk with my firearms instructor and see exactly what his thoughts are. Assuming that he doesn't see an issue, I'd be happy to have 10m/30ft to work with.

You just don't get it do you? The americans killing americans bleeding heart tyraid comes from a misunderstanding of the terminology. What you should see there, is that these are gangbangers killing each other, police who justifiably kill a criminal who I trust, had it coming, everything. You have to realize that the percentage of people who are caught illegally with a gun, are in the high 80 and low 90% range, are already prohibited from owning them.
I carry not because I don't give a fuck about people, I carry because in part, I do care about them!
And trust me, gap toothed hillbillies are the minority of gun owners by far. I know, I spent a summer in the hills of W. VA. Those people can't afford it. Your typical gun owner, is your typical American. If they were as dangerous as people say they are, we would have gone extinct by now.

Far as guns go...MMJ patients can own guns. There's no check done to prevent it. People can own assault weapons...there's no stopping it. People can train to kill with their hands..there's no opposition for that either.
I know guys who could kill faster hand to hand than a newbie gun owner could squeeze off a shot.

it is an evident truth in many countries including mine that your extreme gun ownership laws and use of weapons is completely unnecessary. we live happily and mostly peacefully without a closet full of firearms.

i am a farmer and my weaponry consists of a .22 rifle that is used for killing sick or injured animals.
