First DIY stealth aeroponic cabinet grow, SOG

day 33/13 and the plants look great. My kish seedlings are putting out their second set of leaves. I had 7/10 seeds pop in the end, with two of the showing slow growth off the bat and some weird deformed leaves on all but one of them. However, the second set of leaves is all good and they are all looking green and healthy. I figure within 30-60 days i should be able to clone and sex them. If i get two or more females then i should be able to do a round of kish by august or september. For now they are being nestled in between the aero plants under the HPS in the day and under fluoros at night.
The aero plants are getting a lot more food this time arround. My ppm meter is busted and i dont have the $$$ to buy a new one, but im feeding almost 1.5 ties what i fed last time and im getting no signs of burning. The plants are perfect; they are mostly covered in bud from the top to the bottom, and they are all going to have huge main colas. Im hoping to finally hit my 200g dry weight goal this time arround. Gonna let the plants go till at least 50 this time arround i think, so minimum is another 17 days of growing. This would also help to get the plants on the 30/30 cycle i want which i have been fucking with as i harvested early twice.
The DWC plants look good, they are just now starting to show flowers. I supercropped them at day 8 this time, and they seem to be responding well, growing closer nodes and starting their stretch with little side branching. Hopefully i've got this down; the plants in the aero chamber now are the first through the system, and are as close to ideal as i can really hope for, so i want to be able to reproduce them and i think the suppercrop was crucial to their current structure.
I have a whole bunch of soil clones still rooting to go outside. They will be finished rooting by this weekend and i think we might go plant em after that.

day 35/15 and the plants look great. swapped the res today on the aero plants, they are on triple food rations and seem to be loving it. The lower dwc plants are finally starting to show buds and stretch, i think next time ill wait longer to suppercrop them, although there may have been some root issues with thatcrop too. The Kish seedlings are about 2 inches each now, putting out more leaves every day. I want them to be BIG lol. Kish sounds so goood.

day 38/18. aeroplants really fattening up. the tallest kish seedlings are approaching 4-6 inches. another 12 days till harvest.

Day 40/20.looking amazing, definetly the best run so far. hopefully ive cracked this method.

day 44/24. plants look awesome. can't wait for the harvest this time round, since it will be VERY indicative of the overall op output until i change something drastically. The Kish seedlings are getting up to 6-10 inches now. Can't wait till i know how many females i have.

day 46/26. The plants look amazing. friday harvest.

Interestingly enough, the plants that have single cola's most effectively have a vastly increased number of pistils. The plants with side branching have less, and they are orange earlier then the others too. Weird.
The Kish seedlings have their first starting branches. Just have to wait till those suckers are a couple inches long and it's clony town. Im not going to train the Kish seedlings either ive decided; ill wait till i know the females and then ill clone em and start new mother plants which will be topped and trained to grow flat in an x so that clones grow strait up off the main braches.

day 48/28 and i have harvested two of the plants that were ready. They were some of the smaller plants that hadn't developped main colas as much as they had branched. I still have 8 plants in there, and the bigger of these two small ones was 60 g wet, so im hoping for over 100 dry this time. That would be a big improvement lol.

the kish plants are getting big, branches cant grow fast enough for me. clones then sexing then kish!

day 13/41 and all is well. this round, then one more, and then i'll have kish in the system. At least two or three female Kish plants are showing, and at least one of them is ready to clone off pretty soon. Jiffy pellets are ordered, and when they get here ill cut some kish clones
it better be awesome a lot of anticipation went into this lol.
Also, ive been investigating the vert cab and the pipe isn't going to be as expensive as i had thought. Still a couple hundred a t least, but not like 500 or something outrageous.

day 19/47. all is well, although the increased cfl time ha made this round of plants smaller. my iffy pellets arrived, and i have 12 kish clones cut and rooting. At least two or three females from the 7 seeds that sprouted. Could be better, but meh it's enough.
ill prbly be cutting this round down pretty soon. the next round should be pretty good, and after that i should have kish to go into the system.

day 31/3 for my current round of plants. the kish clones are rooted and in the system. they show a good amount of growth in a short time period, so im hoping they will live up to my desires. Everything else is essentially good to go. second roundof kish clones are cut and rooting, and the mothers are all being topped and such for more branching. I may end up with 4 or 5 females in the end, which is good enough.

day 39/3 today, all is looking good.

oook so updates a plenty. Harvested the last set of bag seed plants on the seventh. Moved the Kish plants to 12/12 on that same day, so they have been on it for a week now; i think they are at day 11/2 today. The whole cabinet is full of kish now in it's three different stages. Hopefully the kish will be done arround day 45, so 34 more days or so. The plants in the bottom chamber will be old by the time they get to the hps area, but it will give me a chance to see them in different states.
The second verticlae closet design is moving very well along. It will have 4 layers with 12 10' plants per layer, under a vertically mounted 1000W HPS cooled by a cooltube with a 450 CFM vortex fan. It will have a 1000~ GPH sub pump pumping the res up to 8 feet high, and then it will waterfall down the system a la heaths verticle system where there are half moon plastics in the 4' pvc plastic pipe.

day 24/15/12 for the kish plants today. happy with the kish so far; it is adapting excellently to the aero and to the cloning process and is maintaining at least as fast growth with more crystal and denser buds then my bagseed. If it finishes arround the same time of 50 days the whole system will finally running as originaly intended and designed.

The next system im building, a verticle colliseum cascade drain system like heaths, is coming closer to design completion. My main factor is piping. Im going to ask the community.

day 27/18/1 for this round of plants. The plants in the lower flowering chamber are having some problems, i think i over nuted them. They are in pure water now, and hopefully will recover well.
The trichome production on the Kish plants is ludicrous. The leaves are COVERED in crystal. The resin itself smells almost exactly like a lemon Pez candy. I CANT WAIT. this weed will be soooo good

day 34/25/8. the kish looks amazing. it is huge and beautiful. unfortunately the lower flowering clf chamber plants got a little sickly. A couple will likely be low producers, and i dont know how much the rest have been stressed. we shall see.
Im going to wait at least another week. Kish is advertised as a 42 day strain and its in an aero setup... so technically i guess it could be done. Ill wait till pistils are browning and receding i think to really get the most out of these plants. They certainly haven't stopped bulking up yet, so let em grow.
probably going to build the new closet next week.

day 35/26/9 and i cut down one of the kish plants. it had gotten mashed against the cool tube and it burned itself on the top cola . so i sacrificed it and we will smoke it in it's own honor. It looks great even though it's early. Gonna wait at least another 7 days for the rest, although i might wait longer just to see.

day 38/29/12. harvested today . final wet weight, 286.5. i expect at least 50g of stem in that that will end up trimmed off, but thats still better then my previous harvests. We have been able to smoke the test plant, and we are fecked. this stuff is reeeeallly nice, even after only like 3 days off the plant.

day 39/22 and i have harvested the second lot of plants, these are the ones that got sick from nute burn halfway through, and they have less then half the weed on em. The new plants are going in to the top chamber today, and they look much more up to spec.
i finished building the second closet today. It's a mini cascade verticle system that fits 45 plants run on a 600w hps. its awesome. im going to start a new journal for it and post some pics later.
