... there's plenty of threads that would do absolutely no good to be kept open just so you can hear the same damn thing out of 200 people... the badge hearkens back to the ole days round here.... we had a little minute where someone made fdd a badass riu badge to post when he had to "moderate" something, it was halfway a play back to that, and also a play on my gonzo motif, as stated earlier.... alot more there than can put into a post, but I have alot more substance to it than just, "dude, fear and loathing is such a cool movie".... so the other half of my intention was there.....
other than that, badges/stars remind me of being in jail, and I didnt care for that one either time

or at least that's how we like to think of it after way too much indulgence in fun chemicals
