Here's a shot with the lights running aiming up, so you get an idea what my baby is under:
I finally felt comfortable clipping off the first set of fan leaves (the first set, only had 3 leaflets) and the first true leaves.
They suffered some twisting because i had no overhead lighting, so the plants were twisting to get light. There are also some phosphorous burns from learning the hard way about bloom/flowering nutes on vegging plants!
This gives you an idea how the CFL halo sits on my canopy. In flower I'll switch the lights to 2700 / 2850 and add 2 more (so 3x2850 3x2700) and add another clip lamp to accomodate. I will also be moving the overhead 60W cfls to side lighting during flowering, with a 2100k 60w and the 50/50 10,000k / Actinic
And this is a desperate attempt to get a shot of the plant without blinding the camera with light from the cfls.
Right now that is:
4 x 25W 5850k
1 x 60W 10,000k
1 x 60w 50/50 Actinic (420-450nm) and 10,000k
220W CFL with 5 different light temperatures (all spiking between 420-450nm and a good number of red/yellow from the 10,000k and the 5850k) on the main plant with a dwarf in a pot next to it that is doing some recovery vegging under the same 2 60watters.
5/19 light cycle, 3rd week of veg.
Oh, and i finally bought a timed power strip, so I don't have to keep hitting the switch myself.
