Nice thread just found it. Going to start mixing mine this week. I have prilled dolomite lime and prilled organic pro mix 4-4-8. You think that’s ok to use? Also have the rock dust and kelp meal. Cheers.
Thanks man, honestly first organic run for me so I didn’t even use any dolomite lime. Oyster shell flower and rock dusts were in the Gaia Green and seemed to work great. I did add kelp however multiple times throughout the grow in the waterings, and while I was “cooking” the soil at the beginning once.
My mix was mentioned at the beginning of this thread, and got things going with liquid kelp, mycorrhizae and molasses in water. Seemed to work awesome. Will never go back to liquid nutes I don’t think... or any other medium!
Mixing the next batch of soil tmrw (same setup) for my next grow coming shortly. I will dump the current root balls in the 6.3gal fabric pots into a storage bin, add some worm castings and compost, with a bit of lava rock, Gaia Green 4-4-4. Let that cook and add the water with liquid kelp, mycorrhizae and molasses to start things again for the grow in roughly 4 months.
Good thing about organics is recycled medium that gets better and better! Good luck!
