First time growers, just started flowering recently? come on in :)

Hey pass, knew id find more ppl in my situation here :D , ozone gens are brilliant for stopping smells and they actually make the plants "feel" healthier . This is the one I'm gettin OZONIZER Ozone Generator Sterilizer Disinfector Hygiene

 
trimed most of fan leafs 002.jpgtrimed most of fan leafs 003.jpgtrimed most of fan leafs 001.jpgok i decided to take up on my mates advice,,i trimed most of the fan leafs off this morning,,he said he does this on every grow and he gets good results like between 4 and 6oz a plant so i took his word,,he said it will take my plants about a week to recover but once theyve recovered the buds will boom away,,im finished with my bud blood now so im feeding with canna a+b with some canna pk13/14,,after another week im guna add my canna boost to my feed,,my mate uses pk13/14 one week then not the next an so on so he feeds pk13/14 every other week so ill follow his methods as im growing same as him,,i also got my cuttings from him,,ill put some pics up of how they look now,,they look tiny now lol but if all goes well and hes right i should be ok :),,i uped my ph to 6.3 now too

i have about 70 bud sites maybe more on these plants

thanks for your input but i think ill stick with my mate on this one as hes grown for like 20years and always had a good harvest triming off the fan leafs,,ill will put some pics up in about a week when my plants get over the stress..thanks man
 
if you know what your doing you might benifit from this method.
but if you don't you just killed your plants emergency energy resources.

yes my mate is helpin me threw my first grow and hes advising me on things and what methods he uses,,he said the end result could be 20% more yeild :)

I have 3 Barneys Farm Blue cheese plants that i have lowered the light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12 by an hour every day. I am now on day 3 of 12/12 and already i can see calyxes forming :weed:

I am a Soil Organic grower and i'm using only BIO FLORES for my flowering cycle (i really am a fan of the biocanna range your plants will n ever want for a thing :D)

Welcome Sensi-Stan :) Glad to have ya aboard! As you are just beginning the phase I'm sure much information will be available as there are a few guys growing different strains/ styles of cultivation/ products/ lighting etc. I personally do alot of research on a constant daily basis so anything comes up just holler, but you look likemyou did your homework bro :D peace and happy growin

you know this. It's your own business man and at least I and the rest of us get the privaledge of seeing the final result of this techinique, so to speak. I actually take my hat off and bow gracefully to you for fronting this crucial piece of research. :clap: Show us how this works. I'm leaving 100 % percent of my fans and all leaves intact myself. As far as jacking the thread goes, to all guys here, just keep posts to a standard of strictly flowering info and pics, a lil tradin tips back and forth doesnt hurt. This thread is for support and comraderie throught the fun part of growing AKA flowering where we have potential to reap the rewards and fruit of our hard work to the best means possible. As in no talkin about stupid shit that doesnt pertain to flowering!!!!!!!!!! Thank you gentleman :)

I like to think i know what im doing. i'm like you iv just researched for literally years before starting this thing so far no problems :D . thanks man,like i say its my first time growing so im just learning man,,with a little help from a mate,yes at first i didnt agree with removing 75% of the fan leafs,i actualy asked my mate if he was sure about it an he said trust me ive been growing blue cheese for ages an told me to go ahead so you guessed it i went and choped them off but he seemed sure i would benifit from this method but ill keep yous updated on my flowering,,i have about 70 buding sites on each plant maybe more its just a guess :),,now my bud sites are all geting the same amount of light as before most of them was shadowed by fan leafs,,ive got confidence in thes babys,ill post some pics up after the shock of cuting the fan leafs,i think it will take a week to get over the shock but give them 2weeks and i reckon the buds will be well on their way :)...but aye i could be totaly wrong and get some shit buds of them,,who knows!its just a learning curve to me for now,,like i say ill keep ya updated on my plants mate,,,as for asking about white mildrew i just thought id ask wile i was here man,,no need for some guy telin me im hijacking this thread,,if someone asked me a ? i would answer try to answer it the best i could to be fair,,,not turn round an say stop hijacking the thread,,,even if i was having a bad day haha
