I just outfitted my house with the CREE lamps and man I'll tell you this much you would benefit greatly from using the 65W equiv BR30s. The AR19s spread light out to the side and the BR30s direct it. None of those AR19s are giving direct light to the plant they are just sending light to the walls. I tried a BR40 in the garage for example. supposed to be like a 90W equiv, well it's too directional the light just gets casted onto my garage door opener. Now using the 75W equiv BA19 with less output better illuminates my garage by far. I would say given my past experience with vertical bulbs the 60W equiv bulbs you are using would doo much better when in a larger space providing side light vertically hung. Promise you if you switch to the CREE 65 9.5Ws you'll do better, or even the philips 10.5 w.
Sorry man, not reading through 60+ pages. I have to do that for work and you guys aren't paying me. LOL If you guys want to pay me an additional $80k a year to do so I'm game. LMAO j/k What CREE LEDs do the AR19 use vs. BR30. BR 30s a way more directional. WAYYYYYY more. You are spreading more light to your walls floor and ceiling. Just compare the light spread. Although if you can provide which exact diodes are used in each vs the other which I really doubt there is all that much difference since lumen output per watt is pretty negligible. I just don't see how vastly more spread light that goes to the side predominately can out due something that more closely reflects and focuses that same light to a smaller area. Scientifically makes no sense. If you read through this whole thread you'll see I have one tent using the BR30's. They use a different cree led's than the A19's and I don't think they grow as good.
could you break down each direction skunk? Did not know that about the 40's or 30's.... what would be your 90* equiv?

Don't remember off hand but any info about the Cree bulbs is in this thread along with links to tear downs.
yeah BR30s spread at about a 90* angle. The AR19s only seem to shoot out 180* opposing each other. None down or anything. Just like the BR30s only seem to shoot down with no wide spread.
WOOOW! That's pretty cocky. The day we stop learning from others is the day either we become a fool or are dead. We can always learn from each other and no one, neither you nor myself have all the answers. Though go on a head. Who knows... Maybe. I'll teach you a thing or two before this is all done. Can't believe someone is giving me advise on how to use these. I guess it's been a few months since I've been here, been dealing with health and personal issues. Where the hell is the like button?
Saw the LED mag tear downs. But you could be right. I just see what I see. Though the packaging may hint directly to what you are saying. The 60 says 800lm the 65 says 650 for the same W and the 75 says 1100. All I know is I threw 60s in the room to see the spread then a 65, and I would stick with the 65(got a couple on reserve just incase the 3750Ks need a little red supplementation). Why because I was casting way too much light the A51 turned off with the 60s opposed to the 65s. What's more lumens matter if they are going to useless places? That's my thought.

Not to mention experience overall growing. Go a head carry on. I'll let you do your thing.
No offense. But if I have nothing to offer.... Play along.
Hope your health is on the improve Captain...![]()
Didn't mean to offend but I've been using these for about nine months and can get consistently over .9 grams per watt of very dank hard buds with these without a long veg. It's a long read but there is a lot of good info in this thread.
