I moved Nikki II back to this chamber for 5 days to finish. I trimmed a bit of dead tips. I put her in a 5 gallon bucket to drown her. She was involved in some spider mites so as a punishment I'll get mydevil on her (For you Byg).
She got a tbs/gal Fish Emulsion first then another gallon plain water. I'll get another in before lights go out.
I covered the upper intake to see if it stays warmer too.

I harvested the tops of #3 Nikki II today. I left the bottom colas to finish. Again I saw the beginning of 'nanners'. I'm beginning to think the drowning does make them realize the end is coming. It is slower than a swift snip, so they are trying to get seeds made as a natural process. I expect this one to need close to no cure time as opposed to Cleo who's nearly ready to finish trimming. I trimmed the top 4 colas and have them in glass jar curing.
I got a couple pics of some buds in the center that got a bit of a sunburn from the 2.0 UV-B. It was hard to tell on the very tops as they were already burnt from the stretch.
I'll get the rest in a few days when they're ready. Final weigh in and smoke report to come.
So far I'm thinking the Heat Bulb and UV-B have some uses. The issue with distance from them is the key to effectiveness. The 250W CMH and how close they can be from it alone threw me off.
I will use it again in the spring. I'm thinking of a couple different experiments to try. It will be with 2 to 4 and clones starting flowering sooner than I have been.

I doubt 3 oz. Think around 2, but over would be cool.
I harvested the rest of Nikki II. It's in the Dry Box. Smoke report & final weight to come.
I decided to move a plant into this chamber to finish. Get ready to meet her. Noel is in and Pics coming for her.

I flipped her to 12/12 on Halloween. She was under my Dual 150W HPS. She had spider mites so leaves were lost a bit. She's gotten Hot Shots, Neem Oil, Sulfur Vapor and Floramite. So I'll hit her in a week again with something.
This strain has taken 80 some days to finish so not gonna be for Christmas as I named her for.
I leeched her with 4 gallons of 6.3 pH water. Gonna try and hit the reset button on her. This strain is a hog & gets Epsom Tea with all waterings and nutes.
250W CMH is 10" from the closest top. 2.0 UV-B is 9" away but only for 15 as lights go off. Watching very carefully this time.
I'll throw up some pics of her starting later but here she is.

New plan to keep temps in line. Especially overnight and low by soil.
Held 68 to 74 last night and mid 80's today. Drifts to low 90's for a minute or two as fans aren't on an exact flip/flop. But that lasts 1 or 2 min as a fan sucks built up hot air.
Soil is staying warm now. Gotta be ready to get feed in a day or two. These days with colder temps has to have killed any spider mites.
I leeched her last so she needs a full dose I have yet to decide on. Thinking of adding some Apple Juice to her Jack's. Dirtbag has had some good results.
