i have a 4 way tester, light, fertility, PH, and moisture...i am yet to use the PH or the fertility on it. i dont believe in PH. its just something to blame things on.

Ya so I noticed... Lol! I just did A LOT of reading b4 I started n people seem to stress the PH thing a lot! Well for never testing your PH u really don't seem to have any issues! Maybe I'm just being too technical n stressin about shit that don't really matter that much! So then really the only thing to look out for in soil is the moisture and the amount of light the plant gets? Sounds simple enough! I'll have to look into one of those meters u got or something similar to it. IDK man... I guess for this being my first time I wanna make sure I do everything right. I'm just gonna start reading the plant and see what it tells me and learn as I go! Once again man thx for the advice and I hope all my questions aren't anoying you in any way! You just seem like u know what your doin and you've givin me good advice so far so thx bro, I really appreciate it.... HB
BEST THING U CAN DO! research deficiencies and symptoms of them, wat they look like, wat the plant does wen affected by the different types. that way u will already have the rough knowledge of 'reading the plant/foliage'Ya so I noticed... My tap water comes out at 7.0 ph and ends up at around 5.5-6.0 ph once I've added all the chems. The chems that I use have ph buffers and the flowering additives that I give them contain phosphoric acid which raises the acidity. I just try to keep it at 5.5-6.0 ph as flowering plants in Hydro enjoy a more acidic mix. I haven't adjusted ph for a long time as the chemicals usually do it for you.
Always safe reading the instructions...it says "do NOT submerge rods in water" on it ditty.
-------------Hey fuzzy maybe you are just a lucky one who has a good to pH to begin with...?
I don't have to adjust the nutrients either because when I mix up the nutes it comes out right where I want it
pH is what controls nutrient uptake, too high or too low and the plant cannot eat some of the nutrients in your mix
pH is absolutely a key role in growing hydro, you just so happen to have good water (like me)
Keep up the great work man
wow wow wow is all I can say mine isnt going anywhere near as well as this. Great job man Plus rep for sure.
How long did you use the rooting gel for?
