YAY everyone here is Smart.

Whadup XBOX. Yes you have to pay for internet, but your paying for Quality internet and a Secure connection.

CoD games, Halo games, Battle field games.... 4 to choose from in EACH... all of them are competitive level FPS. you have many to choose from.

Single player games i would recommend RAGE, Borderlands, Bulletstorm ANY game BETHESDA Software makes are usualy Very good single player campaigns as well.

P.S: The XBOX 360 controller is PERFECT for an older dude, or a young gun. you can play normal, m0nk3y f1st, Tekken Claw.... and there are MANY controller mods out there to make it more comfortable for your hands, such as extended joysticks, turning the D-pad into a Joystick Ect.

im what you would call an "Older gamer". when i play for 4-5 hours my hands hurt..... but i can play for 5-6 before they REALY hurt if im using Modsticks pro.... http://modsticks.com/ yea i know it sounds like an add, and i hate it.... but its true. my hands hurt less.

battlefield 3 and mw3 come out soon, both fps and they're new so it will be quick to find a match.

I HAD an Xbox630, Ps3 and Wii. My son used my PS3 and my Wii as a coin machine and now the PS3 doesn't work and the Wii wont turn on. I recently got the new GOW3 360 and i love it but i miss playing Uncharted 2,Little Big Planet and some other PS3 exclusives that are fun as hell. That being said Xbox is alot more active if you like to compete and or just hop in a game for fun. I dont know i like them both but my first Xbox over heated thats why i bought this one

The ps3 got way better graphics.
Grab uncharted 3,resistance 3,call of duty and your good.

I would buy gears one or two be4 you drop 65$ on the third-you can prb find them for real cheap at gamestop. I hate how the people move, the aiming, tossing grenades in the gears series. Battle field and call of duty are pretty standard fps games.

if you install TVersity on your computer, you can share out folders with DivX movies or tv shows and then pick them up on your XBOX. You can do this with windows media player sharing but its harder to configure than installing a program dedicated to file streaming.

i like it, it's a nice change of pace from the typical run and gun shooters.

lol but the funny thing is no disrespect but Battlefield is made for PC always has. I played the Bf3 beta and its the shit. But yea the gears series is hit or miss ether you like it or not it seems to be

I'm doing a degree in the study of video games. Get a damn playstation, they're awesome. You also end up with a Blu ray player.

EDIT: You ALSO end up with a playstation 1 and 2- I like to be able to play all my Final Fantasy on one console...
