Right on man. I like my phantom vertical that I hung to replace a vertical 600 HPS. The buds around it seem to be liking the extra UV. It's a keeper. Probably replace the other 600's as they die off. lol

Its all theoretical, as I've never grown indoors. But if I do something I like to make sure its done right. I do expect close to a gram per watt on my first grow, I research more then most. Being disabled (real bad back) I have the time.

I can't wait to see. :) I am the same way with researching. When I first grew I had been reading every issue of hightimes I could get and learning from the articles in there. Back in the late 80's that was the only source I knew about to learn from. I applied the teachings of using good lighting and had good results right from the start with a 400 watt HPS instead of fluorescent tubes lol. Once I went with their teachings of knowing the pH I got even better results.

Also bought a lotta issues of HT, the bud porn was real. :D

Bought Ed Rosenthal's " Marijuana Growers Handbook" long ago......its dusty but in very good condition, to this day. One of my best friends has grown indoors for about 7-8 yrs straight.....and I grew outdoors on my own property decades ago with wife #1.

I wonder what cob they use. TBH I am no expert on LED lights so I would recommend hitting up the guys in the LED growing section. There are some folks there who know a lot more about LED lights than I do. I can't see how many watts it runs at or the recommended coverage area so it's hard to say if it's a good value. It seems overpriced to me for the parts involved.

I emailed the owner an hour ago. I believe the driver used enables each of the current lights at 65 watts each. But he will confirm it via email. Growers at AFN loved his 54 watters he used in the past.
