I wouldn't look to gain much from this
other then a test grow.

My first plant yeilded about and ounce. I let it veg from about 8 weeks before flowering. It also depends on the genetics in the plant.

Given your setup and experience I would still flower that plant now. You can actually flower a plant directly from seed if you care to.

The lighting that you have will only reach a short distance into the foliage canopy and anything below that distance from the light will be taking energy from the budding sites that are within that sweet spot of lighting that produces tight kind bud. A 200w HID will reach about two feet from the center of the bulb and still give tight kind bud. Much further than that and the buds will be loose popcorn buds that dry and cure into a one hitter.

That plant will still veg for another 10-16 days before it fully changes to flower mode. The height will increase by at least two probably three times their current height before they stop stretching. Then you want the bud sites to fill in nice and tight.

I have personally grown lollipops that were flowered directly from seed and each plant produced over 3/4 oz. That was with 1000W HID lighting however.

Yes I have a lot of stuff going on, but no pics or journal going. I've got some good seeds soaking to plant tomorrow morning. I'm going to take pics and once they get growing put a journal together. All the stuff I have going on right now is bagseed.


I meant not to listen to the guy who said to scrap it and start over, he obviously only read the first post. If he'd have read the whole thread he'd have seen how well the plant has recovered.

Nothing wrong with bagseed. Some of the best times of my life involved gorilla growing bagseed all over the countryside.


Of course that has been a few years ago.

Whatever mjnme decides to do she deserves a +rep for hanging in there.

i'm excitedddddddddddddddddddddddddd every morning theres new lil leaves everywhere

here's my upgraded super ghetto setup
i moved it to my closet and i put the 2 lights on it pretty darn ghetto with shoelaces and shit...

but my plant is doing reallllll well : )

on the last picture you can see pretty clear the 2 main colas that i developed from a bad burn accident... lol but they are pretty strong and growing pretty nice : )

This is an awesome thread. Mjnme, congrats on doing so well and sticking with it, there is nothing like that feeling of wanting to be close to your plant and looking for any little signs of change every day... Very exciting and addicting. Don't expect too much yeild of one plant, though.. Its just good not to think too far ahead, and always shoot low... You don't want to start imagining "all the bud you'll get", until you actually get it... It just makes for less dissapointment that way. Also, as far as nutrients go, you will probably want to at least go with a 3 part solution, such as the advanced nutrients grow/micro/bloom nutes, or somethign similar from another company. The trio used in combination in different ratios during veg and flower give a nice balance of nutes. And then, if you want to supplement with anything above and beyond that, there are a few more you can try.. Greenfuse is good, as is stuff for root strength (carbo load) and stuff for budding (voodoo juice, big bud), but, like I said, pricey. The trio usually goes for around 20 bucks for a small bottle, and for one plant, you can get one small bottle of each and thats 60 bucks for probably the whole cycle. You might need two... Anyway, save the nutes for AFTER you get good lights. Even 1 150 is better than the cfls you have. And if you only have a little light, just grow small plants at first, so you can make sure they get adaquate light... If you want you can check out some pics from my grow...
