Yeah my bad, maybe I messed up that info I read, hmm I wonder if it better some clear + majority cloudy or most cloudy with some amber. Cause thc degrades into cbn and the high is from thc + cbd.. well anyway, I wonder if I would be able to tell the difference from smoking one or another..

You're right, it's the opposite of what I've come to learn. I'll have to read more into it to change my mind about it though.
But, 53 days in today by my count, the Skunk doesn't seem to be bulking up any more, the far majority of hairs have receded, and the trichs seem to be mostly cloudy, she will be getting the chop Saturday night.
The Emerald Jack is damn close as well. She's still wanting to pack on some weight, the far majority of hairs have changed and are receding, trichs are showing quite a bit of amber in the cola and less so around the rest of the plant. I will be checking her again Saturday night before I chop the Skunk. Mainly focused on the middle-lower parts of the plant, probably will take the cola Saturday night, if not the whole plant like I would prefer.

Well, gotta get up for work at 4 a.m. all next week so going in to check the trichs again now, hopefully I'll be satisfied, then chop. Be back to let y'all know.

The Skunk will be coming down in a few minutes. Having trouble deciding whether or not to chop the EJ. Gonna go ahead and get the Skunk taken care of, then inspect the EJ one more time then make my decision. Be back again with pictures of the Skunk when I have it down and fan leaves trimmed.

Yes, yes, hopefully. It being so small I'm betting it still dries pretty fast, reason I left a lot of sugar leaves/bud leaves, whatever you wanna call em. But, the environment is pretty dry as well. Hoping for at least a 5 day drying period before they get jarred.
The EJ I am going to keep going and just keep my eye on it. Some buds are done but few others aren't. Want to dry/hang the plant as a whole to keep from drying too fast.
For reasons I don't want to get into, I will have to go stealth, completely. I'm either going to convert a dresser into a grow cab or make a rubbermaid hatch style cab. TBH, it will more than likely be the rubbermaid. For that reason, I'll have to keep it to 2 plants, more than likely less bulbs as well. I'll be growing 1 Ganesh Spirit from Sweet Seeds and the other I'm undecided on. I'm gonna pull out what seeds I have left and I'll let you pick it. Be back with those shortly.

haha you pick... man you are going to smoke that, i can't pick that for you, sour o.g.? dunno anything about all of the strains but i would google flower times and chose something for the flavour and something for the potency.. you said something about making another grow room, how many plants u plant to fit in there?

Forgot to mention I fucked up a lil while trimming the leaves and snipped small pieces of bud (OOPS), really small though. That will more than likely dry really quick, gives me a bowl pack to test out.

Well, more than likely I'll be going with a rubbermaid "hatch" style cab. I'm holding out on the 150 hps for now and sticking with CFLs with the new reflectors I recently got. So in there I'll probably only be able to fit 2 comfortably as I plan to veg for about 3 weeks, maybe 4 this time around.

OH, and the flower times of pretty much every strain there is 8-14 weeks. If you had to pick for yourself, would you pick the super sour og or....?

for myself i would drop indica phenos )) im a pure sativa buzz uplifting high so i am no advisor on this i heard good things about sour diesel, thats why picked up on it, but trully i've no idea which one u should pick, if your not sure, flip the coin, by the time will be in the air you will already know which side you are expecting )))

Alrighty then, I'll pick it when the time comes.
The Skunk is drying out faster than I would like, outsides already seem dry. So the plan is to put them in jars in hopes to re-hydrate them a bit with any (if any) moisture is still left in the buds. Still has the "plant smell" to em, but hopefully that jar can work some magic.
The EJ is still going, wasn't able to check trichs last night, will check on her tonight. Other than that, just waiting on my check to come Friday and I'll get started on something stealthy.

Putting them in jars when I did is turning out pretty well. I can already start to smell the usual "weed scent" behind the "fresh cut" smell. They were still plenty moist in the center which of course dampened the buds again. I left the jar open while I was at work (since I didn't hang dry too long) which gave them a little more than 8 hours with the lid open. Kinda "playing it by ear" until they get to the point where they should have actually gone into the jar.
Waiting another 2 days before I weigh it but it doesn't look like its going to be any more than a quarter (this is just the Skunk).
I'll give an update on the EJ tomorrow.

About 5 days since chop and the Skunks scent has not kicked in yet, they've been in jars as soon as I noticed the outside got crispy but when I first burped I thought they were too wet, I was wrong. The majority of the moisture is out of the buds now. I smoked one of the buds, still a bit gooey in the center and too dry on the outside. Flavor is not there as well. Any tips appreciated because, just like growing, with drying/curing...I'm no master.
As for the EJ, she's still producing, so I'm going to give it a few more days. I took advantage of a few cold days and managed to bring out some purple, mainly in the cola. Today is day 60 of flower for her. Leaves are curling up and trichs are pretty much where I want em, just waiting on that last bit of weight to get put on really. I definitely can't wait to smoke her. Smells sooo good.
Should be getting a check from work today so I will be looking into starting my box some time soon.
