Police all over the world are trained to lie to you.
That is how they operate.

In the US they often will knock on the door of a suspected grow.
If you open the door you are done. They can say they smelled marijuana and then they have probable cause to toss your entire house.
This happened to a friend in college. He didn't smoke weed, much less grow it. The cops tore his place apart and damaged some electronics. After they didn't find anything they left the place a mess.

Turns out the neighbor was growing, the cops had the address wrong from an informant.


I will never open the door for police, ever. Even though it is legal for me to grow, there is no reason to interact with police. Nothing good will come of it.

If the police knock on my door and demand entrance, I would get down on the floor face down and tell them, "If you got a warrant, I guess you're gonna come in." Then when they kick the door down I'll keep humming "Truckin'." Or they will go away with their hands in their pockets.

Again, cops are trained liars. I asked a cop about that and he said they are definitely trained to lie and to take advantage of people's limited knowledge of the law.

Don't grow in the same place bro.
But they do have to have a search warrant to come in.
Still though i would move before starting a new grow.

Your friends who are out selling and doing drugs are the ones who are the quickest to rat you out when they get popped for being out selling and doing drugs....

Do you think cops go door to door asking people if they might know someone who might be doing something wrong?

Nope, they bust some idiot and then tell them we will drop some charges IF you tell us.....
