that= 800 lumens x 12 = 9600 lumens/$25+ 12 sockets@$24=$49, 90 lm/watt, 5.1 cent per lumen
feit = 1500 lumens x 10 -15000 lumens/ $50+10 sockets@20 =$70, 110 lm/watt, 4.6 cents/lumen and 20% cheaper to run
$50 a bulb?Thanks for the math.

This why CFL need a good reflector.Found some Philips 60 watt "daylight" led's on sale at the homo depot today for $10.00 a four pack.
For amusement and science I tried to snap the top of one but ended up taking my dremel to it.
Wish I would have left a little more intact.
Downloaded a Lux meter for the phone and compared results.
Remember - this was very scientifically done.

This why CFL need a good reflector.
The LED shines in a 120 degree cone while the CFL radiates light in every direction.
So you get these very low LUX readings.
Results would be closer with a reflector, LED would still win out though.
The FEIT brand is the best that you found. I found em online. 10 for $50.1600 lumen 'Great Value' 15W warm white at walmart for just under $9
