Every day moving forward should be like opening up a Jack N the Box. When I walk in to check on them I'm shocked at how far they've come in just 24 hours.

Put some netting over them. One thing about this indoor...the stems are not as thick. I think I might have some sagging so I'm gonna try out the netting.

It depends like everything...how far do you want to go and how accurate do you want to be. My timer was $80 and the regulator was a $100. You don't necessarily need my timer. I like mine cause it has a light sensor. It starts dispersing Co2 once my lights come on. then every 60min it comes on for 15min. It does not run with the lights out.

My buddy uses a $20 digital timer from home depot to do the same thing.

It's a couple hundred for a decent Co2 set up using a bottle. A generator is about $500 and you will be totally dialed. For a small grow I don't think a generator is necessary.
A coupla things:

Firstly, subscribed - great looking grow, and it's what I plan on mine being when I expand (currently doing a 4x4 E&F under a 1K in hydroton).

Secondly, you must not be getting near 1500PPMs with your timer - in my 4x4 tent (seven feet high, but really only five feet above the tray), I go through a 20lb. bottle a week on 12/12, keeping the PPMs steady at 1500 (Sentinel CHHC-1). Perhaps going for 10 minutes every half hour would be a better schedule for you?

Thirdly, I've said fuck it to refilling these three bottles every three weeks, and am setting up my generator tomorrow - the price difference is well worth it, IMHO - should go through a 20lb. tank of propane about every two months (in addition to propane being "not shady" to be seen carrying around bottles of).

Anyways, just thought I'd throw my $.02 in regarding CO2, and tell you that I'm subbed - grow's looking great.

I don't think I use enough Co2. The guys say my bottle while in the middle of flowering I should be going through it in a week. I'm at two weeks.

I'm sure I'm in the 1000ppm range.

There are really test strips for this? I remember that from a previous post.
Lol, that's kinda funny - posted my previous post before seeing this - the guy at the hydro store is right (although with your setup, I'd think you'd be going through more then a bottle a week), you're not high enough in CO2.

Although my tent is by no means a totally sealed room, it's close enough, and I go through a bottle a week - that's with my exhaust and intake fans never running (only once when lights go off for about a minute).

They never run during the day.

I ran my first Co2 test today. The test kit is the one where you push air through the glass and white bar turns purple. It was dark purple till 500ppm and tapered off to about 900. Most of the tapered color was really light purple. I'm probably at 500ppm :(

I bumped it up and measured a little while later. basically almost max on the regulator. The regulator had cold condensation on it  I measured about 1800ppm. This in part to reading some Co2 from the last burst.

I want to do a generator but at the time I finished the room fundage got a little tight. Keep in mind my room was a ground up build. I might drop the bones on a generator after Chrismas though. Then I'll just pump that bitch full. But yeah, I should be going through at least a bottle a week.

If you're getting a generator, lemme know - I bought a CAP Gen-1 propane generator off of Ebay, and it was supposed to come with only one burner (producing 3 cubic feet an hour), but they shipped me the wrong one, and it's got four burners (producing 13 cubic feet an hour) - $315 brand new and delivered to my door, not too bad.

yeah, the guy i got it from said that this strain cannot support its own massive buds. from time to time at his pad you'll hear a *crack*, signifying another bud fallen to the ground, lol

awesome man, can we get an upclose shot?
Yeah pics coming soon.

I don't know how everyone gets these killer trichome shots with the lights on. The color is too yellow for me to do it. Then with the lights off the flash is too bright and is messes up the pics.

Even the fan leaves are full of crystals but I can't seem to get a good shot.

use macro focus, hold it 8-10 inches away(or whatever works best) and use forced flash. thats what i used on this one. i could post the super resolution pic but i dont want to hog your journal

C5 that thing looks very very nice
Took some pics. I was looking at them on the laptop. The look pretty good. Yeah I used the macro setting. I'll have to look up the forced flash setting. That's a good one to learn for sure.

They look pretty good. Definately some Trichs this time around.

i change my light setting to "tungsten". it takes all the yellow/red glare out and adds some blues. all those settings on your camera do something different. play around with them.

I just use Photoshop

You can have it adjust all levels and it gets rids of the unwanted and does a nice job
