Grow-A-Long with Dick

Hey now..
bases are loaded in the bloom room. Got a few zkittlez clones and a very sad SSD pheno; the last of her line. She was always real lanky… consistently skimpy yielder so took no clones. Hoping to find old familiar phenos from newer plants currently in veg phase. They are staggered so some of these will be ready a few weeks before the others. Week 2/3ish

It’s always helpful taking pics of your plants and viewing them when you are stone cold sober…I can see the mix in a few of these containers is starting to fall off. Time for tea & liquid fish regimen; getting lazy I guess

Okay the day has come. Paper bags at the ready and here are the baby pictures of 100% Organic grown progeny of a cross between a very up Haze gifted to me directly by the breeder and Greenhouse's "The Doctor" Circa 2008. The New Doctor is not these genetics. I hope to get that gear and compare someday.

And now the result of all my efforts. A naturally grown and naturally separated from the Mother by the Mother, "My Medical Strain."
With this post I get to make use of a Amazon impulse buy ( I am a shopaholic ) the Max-See Microscope.

Those are the natural colors and the seed is fully mature. It was separated from the mother by the mother.



So friends, thanks for the posts but the "My Medical Strain" ( MMS) grow is complete.
I hope these seeds have the shelf life of ten years like the F1s do. If so all my dream will come true.


Up next is an actual grow of something I can smoke. I will grow out a couple of clones. It's been a few years so I hope I remember how.

Finally some smoke on the way.

I'm a bit excited because I chopped those F2s and bagged them to dry slowly.
I know I was blessed with a 10 year old S1. I did make feminized seeds so I can tell but, this other female had a stronger and sweeter stem rub and seems to smell like Cherry in the paper bag where I have the seeds slow drying in.

So I'm excited now to grow out and cure the actual F1 female to see if it actually smells like Cherry after dry and cure.


So in this picture I am starting four clones in the big room. The S1 is the shorter and on the left. The possible Cherry is on the right.

Time to grow some smoke for sure!

I'll update when I have some actual Bud Pictures. Until then wish me luck!

This is my problem child; a stringy-ass SSD mom. She looks better than when she went in because she was cornered in the shade by the other plants in my tiny ass veg tent. Been giving them liquid fish but they all need a round of tea.

I always enjoy watching your grows. Is that thrip damage though in the 3rd pic?

BOLLOX, i missread, i thaught it was how to grow a long dick lol

lovin those purple colours, have you lowered temps to get them or are they natural??

@richard your plants look normal, just like mine Lol , sometimes some pictures look photoshopped oops

Yes, this was the first great thread I wanted to hang out in when I signed up.

I now have three tents, two LEDs, my trusty CFL rack. Funny how it "GROWS" on ya!

I'm following @Richard Drysift's style now. After the Blue Dream Breeding project there are some Beans to try!

Yep; ran out of neem meal at some point and stopped amending with it… fuckers came back again. Spinosad quells them but damage is permanent. Just gave the veg tent a round of Monterey garden spray for good measure

It’s has been cold AF up here in sunny New England; still needing a sweater in the grow room. Only one is turning purple; kinda weird

Never! Just an old ass iPhone w/no filters. Digging these Timber lights; high times grade photos every time

Cool. I've got some of that spinosad spray here too. Citric acid is another one that's supposed to work.

Is the more purple on closer to the intake? Could just be that strain is more prone to the purples too.

The intake fan in elevated up the wall but anything is possible.. I just moved the plants around. The other two are sister clones so idk wtf unless I failed to mark them correctly; again doh!

Fam! It’s been a minute - nice to see everyone’s progress

A few different phenos of moby grape bx (putang x TP mendobreath) by massmedicalstrains in week 4 - this cultivar kicks, solid vigor and incredible terps that go from a super bright lemon cleaner at the top, apples and cheddar cheese, bubblegum and mango.

Lately i've been using some soluble salts "on top" of my organic grows. Just took some ideas and practices from high brix gardening, which relies on rich soil with good biology and also applies some basic solutions containing salts, both foliar and as a drench.

So let me know if i can still participate here.

Both these plants are Cactus Breath S1. A local breeder keeps some Cactus Breath by Thug Pug, and did a fem version of it.
The 4 plants are different, something i expected. I have one that only has mutant 3 blades leaves, will upload her later.
The last one, also didn't picture, is very foxtailed.

Not sure if the plant in the second pic has the mosaic virus.

Salts on top of living soil is all good… 2 part nutrients? Not organic = disqualified
