03/18/2009 - Day 51 of 12/12 under the 400w HPS on the Planet Mars

Hey earthlings:finger:

lol j/k

the plants are doing great, I trimmed off the uglyness and left the beautiful greenery to finish flowering.

still no definite signs of seeds yet.

The trichs are about 80% cloudy on the sweet purp x bubb SO....

I gave them both a really nice flushing today, I suppose I'll be harvesting the sweet purp x bubb a week from today, and I'll probably have to leave that sativa monster in the growcab for another week or two later.

enjoy the pics!

03/20/2009 - Day 53 of 12/12 under the 400w HPS : Quick Dry and a Sample Smoke!!!!:bigjoint::bigjoint:

I figured the plants were finishing up soon so I better start taking samples now...

what I didnt expect was to be blown away by this bud..especially not so soon!

This strain is the stickiest, stinkiest, most potent strain I have ever grown.

-Spittn4Cash

I have photos from early this morning before lights come on, and also a quick step by step tutorial for anyone interested in how I got such good quick drying results.

Stay Tuned :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

03/20/2009 - Day 53 of 12/12 under the 400w HPS : Quick Dry and a Sample Smoke!!!!

Quick Drying Tutorial:

Once you approach the last 10-20 days of flowering your anticipation to taste the sweet sticky green may overcome your patience. This is perfectly normal. We all have such an overwhelming passion for this hobby, and we sometimes like to share it with others. That is why I have decided to document my TOP SECERET quick drying method that we only teach to martians.

Here you will find the absolute best way to quick dry your bud, while maintaining a natral look, taste, smell, and potency.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

1 - ripe bud
1 - paper towel
1 - saucer or plate
1 - Microwave

Start off by making sure you have a small bud that looks ripe for the picking.
attachment.php

Next, Get your paper towel and fold it over, to create a "pocket" for the bud to sit in.
attachment.php

attachment.php

attachment.php

Next, Place the bud into the folded paper towel

attachment.php

Make sure the leaves are laying ^^UPWARDS^^ as in around the bud, this will protect the buds during microwaving. ***do not skip this step!!!**

Next, Get your saucer, or a "plate" as you earthlings call it, and place the bud in the middle. It is essential to place the bud on a plate, do not skip this step!!!!

attachment.php

Microwave for about 00:20-00:30 seconds, I shoot for 00:27 so I dont overcook my bud!!
attachment.php

After microwaving, the leaves should be wrapped around the bud, and very lightly cripsy, while the rest of the bud should maintain a little moisture.

attachment.php

Let the bud sit out for about 5 minutes and then toss it in a sandwich baggie, tie it in a knot to immediately start the curing process.

03/26/2009 - Day 59, Day Before the 1st Harvest on the Planet Mars
hello earthlings.

Im reporting to you from another stratosphere right now.

this weed is the best:hump: ive ever had in my life. :peace:

I'll have a full smoke report up later, but for now here are the pics from day 59, the night before harvest.

Both of them have been given straight water for the last week and a half, the discoloration u see is from Nute Lockout.

The sweet purp x bubb started turning purple towards the end but it was too late, the yellowing had gotten really bad, which let me know it was time for her to come down.

without further delay, here are the pics.
