thats how the majority of people have it set up that have filters in there line... the can filter will work fine with the vortex as long as you can attach to it?...is that a 4" or 6"?.... its not like its gonna suck so hard that it would rip the filter...lol... But like i said.. the alternative is doesnt something like what i got ... use the canfilter combo for the light and room exhaust... and then use the vortex to draw cool air in fomthe outdoors... see cause the vortex is much more powerfull ... that means that longer runs can be achieved... you could install that outside and have it blow into your cab... youd get fresh outdoor air full of c02..

you dont hav to do it like that.. i just wanted to show the order of things... longer or shorted ducting can be done ... just watch the bends...too sharp and it will work against you..

thats how i got my tent set up. Filter ducting vortex ducting cooltube ducting exhaust. I have a little 80 cfm fan for air intake. Having a stronger air intake fan than your using for exhaust will cause a lack of negative pressure in the room, which is bad for the plants and your grow in general (i think thats right, in fact im pretty sure cuz my shit is workin just fine so far, lol). im using the stronger fan for exhaust, and the 80cfm fan for air intake and its working just fine because i have another one of the exhaust holes open so that i have both a passive air intake plus a semi-active intake, so it works just fine. Youll be straight man.
For veg, go 18/6 or 20/4 . for flowering go 12/12. As far as how long you leave your plant before you flower, i would say personally to leave it for about 5 weeks depending on how big you want your plant. you can leave it veg for longer, but remember that your gonna need double the height of your plant in your growbox when you start flowering. its possible that the plants can double maybe even triple in size.

what?... no shit... tell me please where you have seen this issue with the negative effect thing... is there a threa or something?
i have way more in than out and my girls love it... does it affect budding?
oh i got it now. So all i need now pretty much is to sort out my Intake fan what brand do you have since you said it works really well? and i guess just leaving holes open in the tent would allow for the air to be sucked in more than leaked out since ima have the vortex 450 running
