Growing with neoprene...anyone else?

You can get a 2" thick stem which is more than enough. If the stem gets really big, the collar will stretch around the stem and the collar might pop out but you won't really need the collar once the stem gets that big, you will probably have something else supporting the plant when it gets bigger.
