300 plants just seems like a ridiculous amount and if you get caught with that many in some places the consequences can be harsh (not sure about your laws though but mine wouldnt look too kindly upon it
). With multiple rooms and less plants im sure you could still get yourself a nice yield regularly once you get everything sorted and dialed in so to speak.
Bro...
the difference in punishment here in AK is HUGE if are above/below 25 plants...
I'm tired of worrying...
I love SoG... it is a very good way to grow...
But I have had a dream...
And when gypsies dream... we become aware of things...
Based on what I gathered... it is most certainly time for a different path...
I figured I can do under 20 and be happy...
and not dream of having that same dream again...
if that makes any sense...
Oh yeah as for grafting I have never tried but I dont even like starting off clones so I prefer to get clones from others that are already to go. If I wasnt working and had more time to dedicate towards growing then I think grafting would be interesting and would be fun to try.
For now im happy with not having any plants to worry about
So here's what I am thinking..
I will have a veg room with a small ebb flow tray and 14 plants... 2 of each strain...
in the same veg room there will be a 19 gallon pot (possibly up to 4) with "the flavor of the week" vegging ... getting ready for flower...
As I harvest a tree... I will move the 19 gallon pot from veg to flower...
and move the next "flavor of the week" on the 19 gallon pot...
I can have the plants do most of their vegging vertically, and open them up as we did with this one... and allowing the 2 weeks for the roots to spread...
I guess I am basing this on my experience with zero veg clones...
I put a clone into flower with a NUB of root... and when I harvest, I have a solid mass that will not drop a single clay pellet...
so the roots grow fast and hard on my little pots...
I'm talking about transplanting as we did with this one... with an already established healthy and thriving rootball...
did you see this pic? that's 2 weeks of growth in mt veg room...
I dare say these plants are not rootbound...
what do you think?
So veg the like this... in little pots...
transplant to big pot 2 or 3 weeks before flower?
maybe I am all screwed up and not counting something... seems too easy...
