Just put the Humboldt version into flower. I haven't done anything but crack two seeds and veg so far so that is my only experience. I can tell you that the seeds I cracked all germinated and sprouted twice as fast as several other strains from multiple other breeders. In veg it has been a very fast grower. Just pruned and trained her (pics are of both before and after so that is why she looks different in the tent pics). She is under a 600w HPS currently. Excited to see how she finished out. She gets fed H16 Bud A+B, H&G BudXL, Terpinator, H16 Finish and gets hit with compost tea about once per week for some beneficial microbe action. She has a good root mass on her because she can drink the 1.5 gallons that the bottom of her hempy bucket will hold in about 2-3 days now. super thick, green stems and branches.

I have a couple GC in wk.3 and are about 3 1/2 ft. Topped them while still short and in veg., "Lollipopped", and kept it that way. 12 plus tops (colas) each. I have two others i am veggin longer to get taller to compare what is best for me.
I guess it just depends on what works for you. Like factors such as, size of grow area, soil or hydro, strain quality, nutes, and so on and so on.

Here is my Humboldt GC @ 41 days. Pretty nice. Very fruity/sweet smelling vs the earthy, spicy of the Bubba Kush which is in flower with it.

Nice job on the Green Crack, duudical. Just dropped my Humboldt GC freebie into a shot glass a couple hours ago.

I haven't told a soul about me growing, if I did I would probably have found people in my area that do grow, because I'm in a very populated zone. Right now though I'm a lone solider, although I do happen to know a moderator on here, who happens to be very close by, I won't say who, I even know where he lives lol, but he doesn't know me. =[
