Go collect a bunch of rocks of various sizes , then paint then random colours.
Paint eyes and mouths on them and little clothes and name them,
place them under your light and turn it on.

Put an empty aquarium in your room and fill it with random stuff... just like a junk drawer.
Then if those jerks ask you about the lamp you can say... Oh... I bought this kick ass snake setup from ebay, craigslist, or something like that... but the light they gave me burnt out and my damn snake kicked the bucket.
If they ask why its set up still just tell them that you are just a lazy stoner... or tell them that you are planning on getting another one.

You said there is nothing illegal in the house. ARE YOU SURE? No fucking dumb ass drunk left a gram under a couch cushion or your idiot roomate has a piece wrapped in his highschool grad gown or some crazy shit you don't know about. Your luck is bad right now-- just might want to do a thorough check. I think the empty aquarium filled with shit is a good idea, or the lawn chair and beer--lol.
(Oh and in Canada, it's not so safe to have plants anymore... the winds, they are a changing-- and we were soooo close to legalization. sigh)

its pretty much got legalized in BC just a few places in Canada sayed no to it and people in BC are aloud to have 5 Plants legaly , it even got onto the news about the new law

i read on a norml forum about some idiot ordering seeds under the name:

Plant some tomato and bell pepper seeds under it. Say your hobby is growing your own organic fruits and vegetables. Hydroponic gardening is not illegal its the type of plant that you are growing that makes it illegal. It would be better than trying to deny that you had lights up after they had already seen them hanging in your closet. Trying to deny it would make you look guilty. Just make sure that you do not have anything illegal around for a while and think about moving.

Is this true? If so then how big can your plants be? I've seen ppl on the internet grow HUGE plants under 1kw a piece. lol just vegg 5 plants in a 10'x10' till the ScOG is full, then flower with 5kw........ that is if you could manage a 10'x10 ScOG. I'm not sure how you would tend to the middle of the garden...... I might be moving to BC guys..lol ya....
Ya i think this whole deal with the cops finding this guys setup seems kinda fishy if you ask me. In any case, like others have said, you didnt do anything illegal so just go with the beer tanning thing. say others have made fun of you for your fair skin and you wanted to darken up on your spare time in the privacy of your dwelling. lol........ How many watts was your setup, and why didnt you have anything growing in there anyways? who waits to start germing there seeds once they their equipment setup?

Why would there have been a party at any place anyone would be thinking of growing?? That alone is the sign you should not grow.Personally your not ready to grow and now you cant as your name will go on a potential watch list in that county.They will watch you for awhile and probably stop you occassionally to see if they can catch you being stupid.Id leave the lights up and go get some mixed green and veggie plants from homedpot and toss them under the light as that not illegal. They do have plenty for a searchg warrant.You my friend are now done growing until you move out of that county quietly
