Any time a search warrant is executed they will leave a list of exactly what was taken from the home along with a copy of the search warrant.
Most certainly, your boy was robbed. Police wont take plants, they take pictures and video and then CUT the plants down. They also bring their own kitchen bags.
these are things their supposed to do but i can even think of a time i was at a house when it was raided and they didnt leave a list, he got it eventually but it wasnt left at the house. also sometimes they break the equipment nd leave it, sometimes they take it and sometimes they leave it in tact.
im still betting they were real cops.
was this a med state?

still, if you have young kids that open the door. You need to have your kids on point knowing not too with 27 plants in the house. Like you coming home from work and the kids in the house with 5 other friends .. >.< Busted.

Trust me, I was lmfao as well when I heard and a bit skeptical with the whole situation. I watched that Barry guys' video before and it didn't sound the normal procedure taken. He received a sativa pheno of the LSD strain for free that he kept as a mother so all the plants taken were exactly the same shit. Better being robbed than having to deal with legal issues. Oh yeah, I called the number and some guy answered with a "Hello, sorry man you got the wrong number". Would a detective answer his phone differently?

Cops don't serve warrants at 11 pm either...4-7am...and seldom knock if they have a warrant...they're pigs...
Varies by agency some of the boring by the book cops do 4-7 am but I've seen a grow busted at 3 in the afternoon by narcotic cops they took about 10 garbage bags full of plants. And besides with all these federal agencies having tv shows its just ridiculous to know what time they are going to knock on your door. You guys should watch some episodes of DEA or US marshals manhunt.

That is for hollywood...and, IF they have a warrant...they DONT knock! This is a game for them...a time to be able to put on their GI Joe costume and use their personal assault rifle. They want to limit the chance of trouble...they're pussies.
The daytime raids are likely knock and talks where they simply ask to enter on something like a neighbor's tip...if you say no, then they threaten to get a warrant and tear your house up and go harder on you...tell you if your just growing a little bit for yourself it is no big deal...the wife lets them in...then they fuck you anyway.
It is rarely the feds.
