This is what I find so ridiculous about marriage. I'll never get married, its a no-brainer... I will never have to deal with a situation like this. I mean thats supposed to be your one and only woman, the woman of your dreams, who you will spend the rest of your life with, but she wont let you grow some damn weed...
I always use to say, "when I get married, it'll be different, and my wife will be perfect for me in every way blah blah blah" but I was just being stupid, no one has a single soul-mate...in reality, marriage is a failed institution, that at the source was created by religion...and its just extremely hard for any two human beings, especially a male and a female, to live and share their lives for ever...anyways im wayyy off topic...my advice is to simply use hardcore logic on her, and constantly pound it into her head how unreasonable shes being. Look, I just know this, if I had a companion or wife who I was planning to spend the rest of my life with, and I shall never have sex with any other woman....then my wife better love me for me! totally and completely, and that means making many compromises...shit I would want my wife to be stoked that I was growing....

I'm sorry bro; My brother's girlfriend was like that with him. She is a sack of shit, and too clingy. I told my girlfriend that I will have the option to grow pot for the rest of my life (I discussed this with her BEFORE I bout my house) and if she doesn't understand that, than she needs to hit the road. Your girl needs to understand that it's your life long dream (Please emphasize this), and if she really loves you she wouldn't hold you back from your dreams & aspirations. She is probably going to critisize & demean your desire to grow and call you a loser or something. Your response should be, "Well i'm sorry honey, do you think you should be with a loser?". Of course she would never admit to being in a relationship with a loser; otherwise she wouldn't be with you.

Most women don't understand that MOST grow rooms are NEVER busted. Your woman has a hard time believing that things can and will be kept secret. She fears of what could happen if you were busted. What she doesn't understand is that if you don't tell anyone and she doesn't tell anyone; it could be kept a secret your entire lives. More thank likely your girlfriend has been involved in too much gossip with her peers; and has not had very many secrets of her own. Women like this are more likely to have trust issues too.

I used to have Clingy girlfriends, and now that I have an unclingy girlfriend, I have the option to enjoy hobbies of my own.

I'm married, and it was my idea to grow. My wife isn't into growing but she noticed how much i like to grow, more than smoke. So She and I get our own personal spending money and i have been using it on my grow. In two years I've accumulated all the stuff I need.

The only person that knows i grow is my mom and her freind who gave me the plant to start with. Between me and my mom, she dose not care if i do it, but the only rule is if it ever came down to it, she never knew anything about it. The thing is, is i live 5 mile out of a tiny hick town on some old contry road with 5 acers, as long as everything is quiet, i just keep on living my quiet life.

my wife was completely against me growing, I mean huge ass arguments about it for mths. Now, i smoked a quarter to a half an oz a week depending on how bad things get, which would cost me $80 to $160 a week. I dont know how much you smoke or how much you spend on it. But I had an idea, I slowed down on my smoking(making sure it lasted) but i took the same amount of $$ out of our acct every week, stashed it!!! She saw no diff., When i thought i had enough $$ saved for the supplies i wanted, took a few mths and i never brought up the subject, i made my approach. It went like this:

me: I'm going to make a grow room.(dont ask her, tell her)
wife: Think so huh.
me: well the way i see it, if you allow me to grow my own shit, I wont buy anymore, from today on. No more!!!
wife: yea right
me: seriously, the $$ saved alone is a small fortune.
wife: why cant you quit smoking and not grow, we'll save the same amount.
