How to make dabs/wax?!

I'm using my trimmings to make dabs/wax this time around, can anyone help me out on the process to make it. I can't find any useful info

there is like 0 info online bro.. looks like you gotta hit up the emerald triangle, i think dabs grow on trees there..

thats what ive heard..

i dont know though.. i cant seem to find any "how To" tutorials around here :p
 
Do a search for butane hash oil or BHO. Everyone and their brother has a video on YouTube.
 
get one of these and you'll be extracting like a pro without blowing up your house

ive heard from users of the[h=1]Tsunami[/h], that not all consistencies are achievable out of this thing.. im sure if you are blasting oil on big production, this would be a great $ saver..

i also just really realllllyyy love my glass tube..

Tamisium? blasting oil on big production would call for a bigger model tamisium. there are many variables to use with a tamisium. all controlled by the user.
 
Does it really matter is the weed is fresh, or dried when you do this ? Thats the one thing I haven't seen. Most of the vids I have seen, it looks fresh. I doubt it matters, but I want to make sure before I give it a shot. Any other tips will be greatly appreciated as well.
 
hmmm. Most of the times ive seen it done my guy used dry smokeable buds.....his stoned explanation was that trich's seperate from nugs easier when dry.....made sense to me....People i know also express the importance of vaccum purging(more than once too) to ensure every last bit of butane is gone.
 
OK, cool. It does makes sense that the trichs would fall off easier dry. I think I'm going to go with the alcohol, and Subcools cold water method. To see which I like better. Then I can stay away from the butane.lol Thank you very much for your reply !!

What exactly does he mean by manipulate it ? Just like stir it around a little ?

I'm just going to save all my manicure trimmings, and do it when I collect enough. At least the first time I try it. That way I don't screw up and ruin a bunch of nice nugs. Those little leaves on mine seem to have a lot of trichs. So I'm assuming it will work OK.
 
actually they fall off easier when cold, thats why you read about everyone freezing their material. it also locks up the chlorophyll at the cold temps

A properly executed extraction will smell and taste like what you extracted it from.

The dryer the material, the fewer retained monoterpenes, and therefore flavor and smell. Fully desiccated material produce dabs that taste like the heavier diterpene cannabinoids, or "hashy."

Drier material will also naturally decarboxylate given time.
