i ordered a 1000 watt growbright system with the 6 inch easycool hood, agro max hps bulb, and the 6 inchi inline fan on sunday,to my suprise it showed up this morning
, only thing is the fan is a dud, so i put in a call this afternoon and an email and hopefiully tony will get back ahold of me tomorrow, but so far they have been awsome.
its really all a dud, the stuff he sells is cheap cheap cheap

well after i plugged it in, and found out the hard way, i look on the box and it was written in pen "refused delivery, 1/9" , LOL, but i'm not out to make a mint doing this, i know there is better stuff out ther i just dont want to put the money into it, i got all the time in the world though, i bought a 400 hps off him about a year ago too with no complaints, other then the low yields froma 10 plant crop.

i started there myself. i still have one under powered ballast.
BTW the argomax bulbs are not really high output. Again found out the hard way.

yea, i fugured that, seeing how he advertises the same lumens for all his bulbs, according to him, his htg special has the same out put as the red eye horti, but yea, i did notice one of his kool tubes in your room. but side by side with the other tube (dont know the name) you can clearly see the difference

I had the same experiance....Had a great dealing with Tony @HTG and a horrible experiance with Texas Hydro.
After missing 3 products from my order with Texas Hydro that i had already paid for....i was forced to pay for shipping on the products i should have recieved the first time. Then waited a week later, called back to ask whats up and found out it hadnt been shipped yet.
I know its not a huge deal but when you are waiting on hydroton medium, you can't plant without it, it sets your whole harvest back 2-3 weeks cuz some stoner couldnt get his shit straight. And thats what Kevin at texas hydro sounds like on the phone, a stoner who cant get it together. I get the visual picture of the long haired guy in Dazed and Confused when i talk to him.
After missing the mylar and having a burnt bulb from HTG i recieved an upgraded mylar and a new bulb 4 days later.
Enough said.

To those who said they havent seen complaints about htg those must not do too much reading. It seems to be about 60% people are happy and 40% are unhappy for one reason or another.I personally dont use them as they have horrible response times taking months sometimes to answer email questions and I dont really like calling them from my personal phone as thats just one more recrod on file I dont need. It has seemed that the people who ordere and are happy are usually new growers buying first time products and dont really know the difference in quality of products.I dont really get why people say he is cheap as his prices arnt really good as there are alot of thing you can get that are the same thing or better for alot less but you gotta at least look and shop.Lately seems htg has about a 40% defective rate on his stuff and to me that not exceptable from my hydro supplier.I advise shopping around for better products and cheaper prices...

I think with all business in general these days, there is going to be that group of people that arent happy. You know how the saying goes, "You can give millions to charity and never be considered a generous person but, suck one dick and your a cocksucker for life". I think its pretty much a one or two man operation at HTG. I live relatively close to HTG so I havent had any extended ship times. You have to remember if you live on the west coast stuff coming from the east coast is going to take longer to get to you.

speaking of those lighters, what are the notches on the side? One sort of looks like a bottle opener but what about the one above that? I feel like a moron.
overnight. it takes just as long to ship something across town as it does across the country. modern technology and all. i've ordered stuff from overseas and received it in less than a week. someone just said they got there shipment in a couple days and they live in cali just like me. 14 days? that's sooooo 1990.

Oh, and another thing,,,, Ive had mixed results with htg.,,, waited 3 weeks or so before I finally called and they told me that I have already recieved it,,, Hmmmm,,,, so anyway they did send out another order,, this one didnt take quite that long,,, about 12 or 13 days,,, and my hps bulb has been out two weeks after I received it....... got my lighters though,,, blue and red cause thats how I roll.......

I will be shopping for a hood, a 600 or 400 watt light, and possibly a couple more items very soon. Any recommendations other that HTG? I am one of the new guys who has used them and so far so good but I can honestly say since their stuff is all I know that I have nothing to compare it to. I would like something to compare it to though. Thanks in advance!
