Another quickie...

I was gone for a couple days.... Gosh darn it to heck! well golly gee beav The plant in the back left corner of the closet had spidey mites again. So sprayed and wiped ... Then moved out of the closet into the room.. Said fuck it and pulled out the stud finder and used hooks...
No airflow in that closet no matter how many fans I used. The doorway to the closet is not centered with the closet. The door jam is along the right wall...

Don't hate the curtains... lol. They do work. Mylar will go up soon..

Veg... I decided to do Uncle Bens topping method. The the smaller ones I will do christmas trees.. Then the cheese og in the clear cup, I plan on mainlining since it's a 2 top clone already. The cups are 2 cheese og clones, 2 cheese og seeds, 2 master kush x master kush seeds. Then I have 4 master og seeds up on the shelf (not in pic) that are going outside..

Yellow - Cheese Og seed
Aqua - NL Og # 3
Purple - NL Og # 2
Red - Master kush seed
Green - Cheese Og clone
Blue - Cheese Berry Kush

I will be posting a video later tonight of cloning with aloe vera technique v.2.0.. Its more simple and more effective than prior method.

I don't know. I'm leaning more towards cmh right now. I will buy either 2 cmh or 1 cmh and 1 cree set up. Still going back and forth. Using thy y splitters on cree, they won't be completely vertical. 90 degrees. You know what I mean from using cfl's. Would they work at at the angle I have the cfl's now?

Those are m&m's in their halloween costumes going as skittles
 
I wanted CMH so fucking bad, but I just bought two SG-160s...couldn't pass on the crazy deal they gave me ;) I think your vert set up with the Crees would be official dawg! That's exactly how I'm going to do my supplemental A19s!!! A couple of Ys hanging in several spots at the 45 angle would be very effective. I paid a lot for those household Crees so I don't want to waste 1 umol on the walls or a reflector.
 
1 4x4 CMH, 1 4x4 cree

then in Jan I'll setup another 4x8. Probably a51 and Hans. 4 different light comparison. We'll see. If Cree a19's and allstarts produce great yields vert. May just add 1 more setup of each or combine CMH and Cree in same setup...
 
Area 51 told me they'll have the all whites available in December. They also said they're coming out with a new model at the end of the year. Those Philips Greenpower CMHs looked amazing! I keep imagining 2 of those babies vertical :hump: I looked up the 240v plug and it's not that hard to wire if you had to. They aren't the big dryer sockets, but you would need a 20 amp circuit wired to spot.

Those elite agros are sweet. I don't own my place. I don't want to rewire anything. Each bedroom has 15 amp breakers. I could run power from another room though. I don't trust those step up converters. Running led and cmh for 2 8x4 and fans. I should be below 15 amps anyway.

I was sent to this planet by the led gods to educate growers and rid the world of hps.
 
I think I may go with 860 allstarts. Those have rediculous high par ratings.. 1838 umole/s at 32 inches away. I wonder how 2 330's would compare.....
 
what is better cmh or led? my friends are all blown away with my buds under leds ... but since i know what i am doing thats all i have ever used ,... those cmh are pretty affordable compared to leds ... bulbs are good for 1 year?

the bulbs are good for at least 2 years . Since they have a ceramic arc instead of aluminum like hps. CMH are more resistant to degrading. Will last 2-3 times longer than hps. The 330's and the 400w CMH have 1.5 year warranty. The 860 allstarts have a 2 year warranty. Any mag ballast has 5-7 year warranty. It would take 6 a51 sgs 160 panels to match the par of an 860 allstart and 6 a51's would be 930 watts.... 70 watts more.
 
I lagged on the video for cloning. I will do it in the next day or 2. I have been extremely lazy. I have to empty the worm bin, start a new bin, do transplants, water everything, make more teas, work, shop at home depot, costco, staters, hydro shop or nursery and the other parts of my life .....etc.....

Still 2-3 weeks left :hump::weed::hump:

kelp meal, dried dandelions, dried lavender, and will add aloe tomorrow.

I'm out of alfalfa meal. Everywhere says that they will get it in Sunday or Monday... Its $7.00 everywhere for 5 lbs. Cheaper than ordering 2 lb's
