Nothing like seeing electrical outlets right next to a "big body" of water to get me feeling all warm/fuzzy inside

I agree plastic quality of lens, its proper mounting on led and lens size play an important role in efficiency. Can be anywhere between 80-90% efficient. Check out the secondary lens pic at the end of the page. It seems the 10-20% light loss is small compared to the gains. To my understanding 90 deg lenses are the most efficient optically (or in other words, least detrimental) Apparently anything else (60,120) can create significant losses. The size shape and material the optics are made from are all factors. Google LED OPTICS EFFICIENCY etc.
Thanks, I think I will do this 87watt UFO with lens and compliment it with 40-80 watts CFL. This should cover about 2 square feetAt least with CFL you know your spectrum.

Cree LED light bulbs, they're available at Home Depot.okay i dont want to spend time trying to find this answer....
What is the cheapest yet still somewhat effective LED light someone could buy for a closet grow of 4 plants?. and I WILL NOT use any multi band purple light nonsense...strictly white..2700K/5700K or what ever you guys would think is the best white aspect ratio or mix of colour temps.
Had to move from med mj state to non med state for family reasons. I need a stealth grow room in my new place to replace the 600W hps I had. I was looking into LEDs because there is less equiptment, heat signature and worries. I want to grow 1-2 plants in a 3X4X 7 area in FFOF to keep it simple. I am looking at 700W to 900W Red/blue/white with a range of 400-700mn with a infrared light and lens around 90 degrees. Am I looking at the right lights?
Find growers whose LED setup you like or think that's right for your situation and go for that. No shortcuts. No cutting corners. That's my .02.I'm a first time grower...any suggests?
Extra emphasis on not cutting corners. It always ends up costing me in the long run when I do.Find growers whose LED setup you like or think that's right for your situation and go for that. No shortcuts. No cutting corners. That's my .02.

I have to agree with FranJan, Pet, you are really over doing it.Funny. Haven't seen you say the same about ALL the A51 comments .
Anyway, look at the title of this thread
Your comment is out of bounds here

Every post of yours I see, no matter which thread it's in, you mention/recommend BML.
You're post are becoming spam without you even realizing it.
Besides, I don't know how you can recommend a light that you haven't even done a full grow with, yet.
What if the light is shit?
