Induction Lights? The newest (supposedly) technology in Induction Grow Lights

I was gonna say that purple induction you were looking at may have been a riant like scar uses if it was purple, Im sure there a stupid amount of light manufacturers in china. scar has gotten eoke pretty good results with that riant, and not just for bloom if I am not mistaken... i agree with dj, 2 420s would do, if you are still wanting to buy something else you could make that 3rd 420 a pontoon instead, definitely help you get the coverage you wnat and for only 40extra watts. You check out psuagro's thread? He is using a 100 pro with a pontoon, pretty sure he is gonna try to flower two plants under it, imo that is nuts! if he can pull off two great looking plants under a 100 that woukd make me think about getting 200 or 100 for my veg area

I just bought a 200 to veg under for the first 3 weeks.
I dont think it will have more than three plants at a time under it. Maybe some herbs too.

Damn loon inda must be loving you right now. If i had the dough wouldn't even be a second thought but that is a couple harvests away, lot of other things on the wishlist in front of a veg upgrade, plus my leds gotta burn out first so it could be awhile

My 400w iGrow (Bloom) light has only been hanging in my space for a few weeks now. I rolled the dice based on as much due diligence as I could do. My utility meter no longer spins like a CD player. The mercury being in an amalgam that they will take back from you when you change out the bulb was a big thing to me. Living in The Great Lakes area (the iGrow factory is in Jackson Michigan......NOT China) mercury is a serious concern to me. A topic for another thread. Hot starts are not an issue. Heat? What heat?? My RH stays put and my temps are actually low. A/C??? What A/C???? Keep in mind that my approach to this pastime is not to torture my plants to get them to produce every .01G of bud as they can. That should get plenty to dismiss my thinking on EVERYTHING completely. But so far so good. Not enough time has passed for me to offer any observations re: bud production as this flowering cycle has just begun. I can say that the plants look very healthy.......Apollo xiii from cuttings and Green House White Widow from seed in soil...my $500 light bill is now $120. A less than significant thing is that photography is much improved as the light is much whiter than HPS. If I am wrong that this technology will leapfrog over LED I don't care. Time will tell. Good bye Hortilux or Lumitek bulbs, hot ballasts, high energy costs, humidifiers, air conditioners, fear of fire the list goes on..........Hello iGrow!! Don't let me down!!! Now!!! Everyone tear into me!!! LMAO!!!

Hey pablito, unfortunately the area you are wrong is there ASSEMBLY and design facility is in MI, all induction/fluoro lights are imported since the US has a ban on mercury lamp production. Big brothers got your back on the mercury, those vapor streaks in the skies from planes is another thing tho lol.... 500 bucks a month? how much a kw/h they gouging you man? One EFDL could not replace a 500 dollar electric bill monster imo but excited to see your results nonetheless. Keep it green
Scar, been hearing a lil bit of buzz about those lights, have not taken the time to look into them though, they pretty legit?

I was at hydro shop yesterday and they had an induction lamp over some peppers and such. 400w, was their bloom version (which I found out was just a 2700k bulb), but the pepper plants had some nice tight nodes and the heat coming from a 400w was amazingly little. They wanted $699 for a 400w full spectrum or bloom, but the sales person actually recommended the bloom light for all growing as he said their experience has shown it works well for vegging too. Not sure about that, but I think I'm going to put my own induction lamp I ordered in December together soon and switch my lights around for some experimentation.

It's true... no one wants to spend big bucks on something and then tell people how shitty it is, and that they made a poor decision.

I use a dark cab to accommodate lots of plants.
It allows me to double the number of plants for free.
But i have to hand flip m every day.

2 drunk t o.count em all but most are in the pics
lol

Not into gpw.
I do gram per dollar.
And i keep my self in free weed cheep.

But with a light mover, long veg, a high yield strain, large scrog/sog Id guess 2-3 gram per watt easy....

Ya scar gonna take the 2-3 g/w thing as a drunk/out of touch statement since you said you prefer to think of it differently.
Shiva ain't pulling 2-3 g/w, and if you are and I am mistaken, please write a book so I can join your following lol.
