Is it? I disagree, because within the context of my own argument, it is actually quite on topic. I believe that how a concept such as "evil" is defined cannot be separated from its cultural context. Many people don't seem to understand or accept that idea.

Its amazing how us people can forget things so quickly. The catholic church has been the culprit of many ungodly acts. But still, many people choose to follow...... (I honestly don't know what to think sometimes).... Just look at how many children the priests molested over the years. But still, many people choose to follow. I actually have my own "religion" so to speak. Its not my own religion, but my way of looking at all. I believe there was a creator. You can call this creator "God" or whatever else you may. I believe the whole universe is composed of God and God is composed of the whole universe. I believe everything is energy and therefor God is equal to energy. I believe everything is energies interacting with its surroundings in an ocean of resonating harmonic frequencies of energy. (You guys should look into string theory if you think I'm a nut, HAHA)

I could go on about my beliefs, but I'm still not 100% sure either. I'm scientific and I no longer believe in religion as a fact.... :neutral:

Which religion do you guys believe is "the one"? If your religious please indicate what religion you follow, and tell me why your religion supersedes the rest.

(If anything, I'm Christian but I don't believe in the bible as "truth". I'm very scientific, and we all know that science fact and religion "fact" contradict each other. I'm very open minded and I don't know which religion, if any, is "the one".)

I was wondering the same thing WE.

It seems people are very quick to attack Islam, without stating why they believe this or what religion they believe its right

The truth is you can play this game with any religion, We could find all sorts of quotes about any religion and make it look evil, Islam just seems to be the choice currently

i'm reading a "understanding Islam" type book, explaining the mission and beliefs of Islam. Not very far and haven't touched the Quran yet.
But it basically stated that the some of the reasoning behind Islam being the "one" religion
1. Islam translated means roughly, giving yourself completely to god
2. Its the only religion not named from a person eg: Christianity, Taoism (Tao), Judaism (Jewish people)
3. There are no 'false' idols. You pray to god, not his son, prophets, or saints.

I will continue to read and once i finish this i will comment, before i read the Quran.
