Update
Well what a shitshow the last 3 days have been. After watching my plant die for 3 days I reviewed my paperwork of the last 6 weeks. The only thing that was sticking out in my pattern recognition brain was the way EC was so variable in the full strength jacks.
The first gallons I made were done by the gallon but the rest I just dropped 3 gallons of airstone tap water into a 5 gallon and mixed/ph/hydroguard and let it stabilize overnight. This is where I have the trouble. As it turned out warm water from my tap was over 750ppm but cold water was 350 or less. Then I remembered that about 5 years I had installed this:

This is a descaler for water. The hard water hereis from 2 types of Calcium. Some from limestone but some from other sources. This works by magnitizing calcium so It will not bind with metal.
Well crap, lots of salts are metal!
Removed one gallon Jacks 321 and refilled with 1 gallon distilled water.
PH now tracks down not up now. New growth from topping taking off.
There is no doubt that the descaler works. I no longer have deposits on fixtures and shower heads. There is ZERO information on what happens when you use this product in hydro setups. I think it turned the calcium into a version that would not work in plants. I do know without the epsom salts a lot of nutes do not work in hydro but to much locks out
I am prolly going to get a water eval from Jacks. Going to drop them an email on costs and such.
