They look happy even with the weather
If the sun would shine, they would get more hours of direct sunlight than the ones I grew in the woods, even with the short days. Today's length of day is 10 hours 10 minutes, with tomorrow's being 0 minutes and 0 seconds shorter. Looks like the solar roller coaster is just about to the bottom.

On Friday we decided to move the Peach out to give the others the choice spots under the lights. My half was 12 plants in 10 cups.

I know I said I had dug 11 holes last week, but I played hell just finding 10 of them. Some of the plants looked pretty good, but there were also a couple that were slightly toasted. I was happy with the roots for the length of time they spent in the coffee cups.

How heavy is a pack fully loaded with soil? Too damn heavy for an old man like me. But I took it and one 5 gallon bucket back to near where the 3DT patch was last year. I got several holes dug for 1, 2 and 3 plants. I was happy to see how black the dirt was. There was one sandy hole just a few yards from a black dirt hole. Go figure. I added two gallons of soil and a hand full of time release ferts per plant.

Also dug a few more holes yesterday. Two patches for 8 plants each south of the Peach Patch, and one patch for 12 plants north of the PP. Still have the pack out in the woods loaded with soil. Gave out of time.

This is a hole for 3 plants. I want to do some cross breeds, so I figured to cluster them up. The Peach will have shown sex by then, and I will have got all the males out of there {and put name brand females in their place}.

I watered the seedlings this morning. The holiday jumble is over, so I can get back to my early morning checks on them. Other than a couple of Tray Jumper seeds I put out late that are stretching to get to the lights, everything is looking good.
