Oh and I noticed looking at the 20" hurricane box fan that the cord comes out of the back grill, and might be in the way of the filter. Might not be a big of a deal.

Also, Lasko sells a box fan now designed just for adding furnace filters. I like making them DIY though, and can make 2 for the price of one of these.

They also make little universal kits that you can add to most the box fans, by taping the or clipping a extra hardware on that holds the filters in place..

What micron is it? I found up to 250u particles. Any links to them and fans and filters that fit easy behind them? I only know hurricane and theyre not the best but the pull air and tend to last ok.

If it becomes too much I could buy the lasko but it should be simple but cant see all fans from behind or through them, if zip ties will work with it. Im not sure how they zip tie to filter id need look at that again.

Ok appears just some holes poked and zip tie through. Need merv 13 and a flush back. Needs to last well and pull air well. The hurricane might work Id need to look at it I thought the power dial built into the square would be a bigger issue. Im dabbing up its halloween need get messed up lol. Only on dabs that is. Drugs are bad.

Oof idk which to choose. Like you said I could get a fan lasko for 24$ or this hurricane 38$ or the built in cover for 60$. I want long lasting which hurricane can do and performance which also can do. Il end up with a lot of them if it works. I cant just buy all of them cheap not knowing if Il still have issues. Im hoping I wont.

Then I guess panty hose is good enough to keep gnats out even when distorted. Fabric pots I know where to get the ones I like. Then cut a couple clones and test it out. The hurricane might be harder to diy I see its not just the cord but it skips the corner so maybe a zip tie on each side of the corner?

Probably will just get a cheap lasko from the store at 24$. I just didnt know they were up again I could of sworn they got rid of all fans last time I checked for regular use. They did though all the time and maybe theyre back. Then some merv 13 filters.

Decided give the cheaper ones a try but yea everythings on the way. Taking a couple cuts and trying this out see how it goes grow them small. Cheap experiment worth trying to revive my grow.

Yee I got all the hooks and ratchets I need ooo if this works Im gonna be cheesin. A humbling experience for sure. I got the moms blasted by a fan and I dont see any pm popping up. They were clustered in a box which I realize why people usually suggest against cab growing if it cant fit a fan and even then.. Sadly the iconic space cab is going down retired shuttle.

Any fungicide suggestions? Its a little rabbit hole Im pretty much focused on as thats the last thing to figure out. Its either I find a good spray or start from seed which I was considering anyway.

Its just one spot and I am not checking good enough but from what I just saw it was just one leaf. Based how it looks I must of missed it but yea just a quick search said its different once it takes hold vs prevention so plus one for that being mentioned earlier. I keep forgetting I can air layer to get my next clone run but I could pop seed.

Thing is I need to decide quick as my veg area is cleaner and dont want to spread the problem. To save the perpetual clone mom setup I could test it real quick see if I can get good results. Is there any merit to going seed only to avoid transfering things that will bite you later idk maybe just trippin.

Looking at something copper based captain jacks. Could use sulfur and potassium etc not sure whats the best but looking for something strong since its just veg plants.

I got the fan its perfect I should be able to diy I wonder how much stronger the hurricane would of been. Im just trying to listen best I can so giving it a shot. I wonder how much air it will move when filtered up but could always take it out and let it flow like crazy. Will see.

Idk what the cfm is but I wonder if those ratings are real or anything to go by when it comes to these. Hurricane is 2400 cfm but its about the power after it has a filter.

The "Air King" I hear is supposedly the most powerful of the 20" box fans with the most CFMs, but I would still rather have 2 cheap laskos for the price of one of those, or even the fancy "air flex" model that's already made to hold the filters.. I been running the $24 lasko ones with no problems, and think of them as expendable items being that cheap, yet they keep on trucking for years.. They are always available for low price at the stores, and sometimes I find the higher rated furnace filters on clearance sales for around $5 at the same places, depending on the time of year, and I stock up and buy them out. Get like 10+ filters for $50 sometimes which is nice..

Should I use captain jacks copper spray or potassium bicarbonate what should I get for the moms? I kinda got to solve that first. Yea I took your word for the cheap fans and also the expensive ones can break so yea it makes sense if the cheaps can out last them.

I would suggest alternating between 2 different products, to prevent possible resistance forming from only using one over time.. I never used the copper based fungicides before, but I would probably go ahead and use whatever is strongest like that, but only on the moms.

I got copper and potasium bicarbonate will treat asap. Im thinking cut a rubber band or do whatever to use that to seal off small clones in fabrib bags. Would you recommend using some kind of adhesive like whats on sticky traps around the tied off area? I can see them weasle their way in idk will see.

What if that tied area was dipped in adhesive and through out time add more somehow as thats the only way in at this point in theory. Idk if something exists there has to be. I just think damn those traps are sticky when I touch them, so much so that when the traps touch a surface the gnats touch, they get stuck to death there too.

Will start looking into that in a sec.

Botryotinia fuckeliana what a funny word. Just trying to explore what I thought was a mold that spreads through the plants system Im seeing only through spores. Weakened or damaged plants. Thats weird how I thought those were my best plants and the enviorment was good yet they still kept taking the plant.

It just grew anywhere on it at some point. Outside, inside, spidermanning between nugs so not even due to moist fat colas. All I know is if theres no mold youre good to go but if there is hell just toss it.
