^^^Yeah I saw that somewhere and I thought you might have an "opinion" on those lights. LOL. And XMLs don't come in 105 degree angles, do they? Must be a custom made diode. Your doomed E! (/sarcasm)

Advanced Led Arc Series Kickstarter campaign is up now. After seeing the new details, im not going to lie, I think I might get the 4 spot whites. They seem like they'll pack a nice punch for their small size. Of course, I gotta get my at200 first, but I think I'll get one of these to play around with too. Looks like they are shooting for a Nov release.

Are these the first panel makers to incorporate the Cree CXA's? interesting stuff... :)

Why would I want to pay for a companies R&D costs? They've been selling lights for years, you mean to tell me they don't have the money for their own research and expect people to subsidize their expenses so they can make EVEN MORE money?

I just see it as a way to preorder. Kickstarter is an awesome concept all around.
Advanced LED has been around a long time, and IMO they're abusing the concept of Kickstarter to save themselves money. They're releasing a new model, and IMO don't want to pay for their own R&D.

Area 51, Apache, and California Light Works all have proprietary designs and paid for their own R&D, and correct me if I'm wrong, none of these companies have existed for as long as Advanced LED.

Bah... lol

I think apache might have been around almost the same amount of time, not certain about that. I know california lightworks is just a couple years old, but they did have a light under the c.a.p. extreme brand going back about the same time. I don't have a problem with what advanced is doing. They make it sound like they are doing this to get production moved bacj to the states rather than be done over seas, whether thats the real reason or not, I'm all for supporting production at home. It might be so they can get out of their contact early or something like that? Who knows? But I would say that there's a good chance that even if their goal isnt met, the new lights will still come out. I just really like how small they look.

I think the idea behind the light is awesome, and the lights look great too.

If I'm giving a company substantial money before the product has been developed, I want to be a partner not a customer. JMHO.

Someone has yet to explain to me why on earth would you "ARC" a 17 inch! Wide fixture?? So basically limiting the grower to one cannabis plant per panel.......stupid IMO

This whole thing smells iffy to me with Kyle's past history of lies, he still has an American flag on his advanced website when zero of his panels are made here! BS and let us not forget that their under a good marketing team and also sell other goods like "pet"steps for your bed! Lol

Nothing innovative/high end about this new gear, just well marketed to seem that way:-) .....ask him for part #on those cree smds, will never answer you a its "company secret"and others will copy........yeah ok Kyle
