i have to agree in point if i could grow outdoor i would myself just for the ease of itThe way I see it indoor growing is mostly caused by prohibition and only sustainable while we have a cheap source of energy. A green house grow would be a much better compromise to grow medical marijuana.
Such tactful. Much gentle. Very questions. By the time I need LED advice I will ask you to ask themi have to agree in point if i could grow outdoor i would myself just for the ease of it
although this does not really answer the question
do you trust science or not ?
are we allowed to be selective in what science we trust
i am asking i do not know if we can pick and choose .. if we can that would be nice
as you said you do not trust science to get the hydro thing right
but you do trust it enough to get the light thing right, you are doing what you think works best for your given the circumstances
are there areas of crossover where science supports organics in showing possible benefits of organics over chemicals
its kind of confusing in a way, because this would suggest that outdoor weed grown organically under the sun
would be the better weed being most natural
why is this type of weed regarded by many as inferior and actually sells for less than indoor scientifically controlled grown weed
can science ever be better than nature ?
just my random thoughts mate not trying to prove you wrong or anything
i am happy for folk to pick and choose what they like
peace
It's just so ironic that organic growers do it for nature but don't understand what nature does for them. They don't understand that a plant itself is a factory with lots of chemical processes and reactions. They don't understand that the plants allows us to eat and breathe as a result of chemical processes (oxygen being a plants main waste product is what allows us all to breathe). They don't understand what their micro life is doing, why it can exists and infiltrate the roots, how that factually influences water uptake and indirectly nutrient uptake (bring ions adjacent to roots). Simply put, they don't understand what a plant is. A chemical factory that does not eat or drink or breath like animals do but create food based from basic elements. The same elements whether you provide those directly or have microbes create them from crap and dead matter. Plants use ions and turn those basic elements into "life", into "nature", it is why we can exist.
Often people wonder where we come from, while technically that is quite easy to answer. Plants. That's what allows us to populate the planet more and more. Plants. Using chemical processes and basic elements they create something out of nothing. We eat it, or feed it to animals which we then eat. Some plants die after being turned to shit by animals, others from old age, small animals eat the shit and dead material and turn it into even smaller shit until it becomes the same basic elements the plant takes up.
Science is from latin knowing. It does not necessarily imply messing with nature or dangerous stuff with glass flasks.... Botany is plant science. "Not knowing" is Ignarus in Latin... The modern definition of ignorant is refusing to accept the facts, not "wanting" to know as some people in this thread demonstrate so clearly.
Why "we" if you are clearly not speaking for organic growers? Clearly it was not directed at you then. Unless your ego is so large you are referring to yourself in a plural. I'm not sure I get that second comment, while we seem to agree my angle and post was quite differently.https://www.rollitup.org/t/diy-led-cree-cxa3070.789575/page-63#post-10624985
Anything else that we do not already know/being aware of ?
Considering the diatribe in your first statements and then reading what you chose to conclude with I'm sure the irony is lost on you...It's just so ironic that organic growers do it for nature but don't understand what nature does for them. Sf, there's no irony there, just a cheap reply with no arguments. Kinda like saying "yourself" after I call you a dumb fuck. Great contribution to the threadConsidering the diatribe in your first statements and then reading what you chose to conclude with I'm sure the irony is lost on you...
but please go on... listening to people like you equate organics nutrients to synthetic nutrients is hilarious...
1) I'm speaking only for my self.I'm famous also for having an Ego as large as the whole Universe itself ...Why "we" if you are clearly not speaking for organic growers? Clearly it was not directed at you then. Unless your ego is so large you are referring to yourself in a plural. I'm not sure I get that second comment, while we seem to agree my angle and post was quite differently.
I'm confused, your input does not compute.
Proper list though, excellent post. I'm amazed it didn't get deleted, smart hiding that in a LED thread...
Your asinine posts don't require argument or debate....I don't believe anybody can really be that vacuous so I will put it down to poor mans trolling.Sf, there's no irony there, just a cheap reply with no arguments. I think you'll find something there ...1-3) Sounds good I'm going to see if I can find a thread with you Artificial Environment Indoor Grow Utilizing Solid State-of the Art ! -Lighting.
4) Cause it upsets the herd, haven't you noticed? It's like back in the day when people started realizing the world wasn't flat. Ignorant sheople freaked out, started calling names, throwing things, creating suckpuppet and troll accounts, screaming "Hang him! Hang him! Blasphemy!". I think that's why anyway. Maybe it's because the organic nutrient companies are evil corporations that abuse the appeal to nature fallacy and RIU is secretly controlled by them. There's some "fishy" going on.
this is not a organic thread .. whats the problem ?To the over zealous hydro guys..
Why not start your own thread?
Not sure many will visit but at least it would be the right place to debate this
