You said it right a 400 watt hps.I used a mh bulb for the first 4 weeks because i had to buy a hps bulb.Which if i would have used a hps bulb the whole 9 weeks of flower im sure would have been more.

Yeah i have no reason to lie and that cola was 15.5 inches long very dense and as you can see the size of my whole keyboard which is 15 inches long

We both will and I will be ordering another one immediately, I will finally be able to run co2 effectively then! Did you check out the link I posted? It shows a comaprison of a 300W LED and a 400W HID. Great outcome for both but shows the LED to yield a bit more and at less electricity. Good for smaller growers..
Interesting find there. I mentioned this in a separate thread I think, but high times did a study a few years back comparing the older 90w led ufos to a 400w mh, 400w hps, and 600w hps. That old 90w ufo yielded more than the 400w mh, 10% total gram yield less than 400w hps but plants under led had more resin and trich levels and also outperformed hps in terms of grams per kw/h used 4 to 1, and the 600w hps yielded about 20% more, not sure about g to kw/h on the last comparison. Remember the ufo they used was older tech, so i think it's safe to say that leds have improved over the last few years so id expect even better results from a new side by side

I don't know how much a blackstar is but how does this compare? I have only looked at larger replacements.
The blackstar 240 runs i think 270.
