have you made any discoveries/observations with pot sizes and correlation with plant size?

Sure. Only with soil tho. 1 gallon pots yield about 1-2oz. More if you get lucky and train well. 3 gallon is a good balance in size. Lets them express their potential without getting massive. Although can still get some big plants in 3 gallons!

Not tried 5 gallon yet only 4’s. I noticed some strains fill out the media better than others. At the end of each grow I inspect the rootballs. In solid pots 70% of the root mass is on the outer edges…

Theres Probably a limit but I’ve seen 30-40l pots recommend for biggest genetic expression (from

excellent. thanks for response.

i have a multitude of leftover 2.5gallon and 4gallon food safe buckets i get from local bakeries (i also brew mead and use the buckets for fermentation) i have been thinking to use for these autos. i don't want them to get huge (that's what my photoperiods are for), but i also don't want to waste my time, soil and fertilizers on miniscule harvests.

as mentioned before, these will be my first auto grows, so not really sure what to expect... though looking at some of the pictures people have posted, they have pretty good potential for decent harvest. (though i will be growing mine outside...)

pretty excited for this project. just put the seeds in peat pellets yesterday. hoping to have 100% germination in a few more days.

These Mephistos went ham over the past 7 days. I lost some leaves by slacking on feeding but I think I caught it in time cause it's not spreading.
