Let's Use Correct Grammar!

Wow, what an effect this post has got! I am glad to see that certain people are interested in this subject, and maybe this will shed light on the problem of bad grammar/sentence structure! Hooray for competence!
 
Wow... I am impressed. A legitimate discussion on how to raise the standards. I am so tired of watching as the media, corporations, government, and educators work together in their seemingly never ending quest to dumb things down to the lowest common denominator.

And I too am very tired of being stereotyped as a "dumb stoner", as should every responsible, job holding, tax-paying planetary citizen. I'm certainly not saying everyone should be perfect, as I don't believe such a standard exists.

All I'm saying is don't settle. Every thing that we do to raise the bar will benefit our children and grandchildren.

I'm high right now, just because you're high doesn't mean you have to make idiotic spelling and punctuation errors.

And I agree with the OP, this forum has some of the worst grammar I have ever seen and I'm a member of many forums. I'd say this forum and hiphop related forums are tied for worst grammar. lol
 
I agree 100%. Please don't take my picking seriously, I like to lighten the mood. Well, that email guy should take it seriously. :mrgreen: :peace: :joint:
 
yeah Im going to have to say thats kind of rediuclous. most of the time people post things about problems that they need help with asap. They dont have time to check their work, and make sure everything is punctuated. If you are trying to write something on here that you want published or something, then go ahead and cross your t's and dot your i's. But for most of us, we can understand what people are saying, and thats all we need.

No offence though, we are all still growers <3

I think you've shown a very respectable amount of common sense, relatively speaking. There is an old saying, "Never argue with an idiot, because people won't be able to tell the difference." I often chuckle at this, in my spats here.:mrgreen:
